- GREY SQUIRRELS AND WINTER WEATHER TROUBLE.
It happens to all of us at some point in time, but not many own up to it.
In this video, there's a bit of info for the best bait to use, and what can happen in very cold weather, and electronic scopes.

I don’t quite know how but I missed this one. Well done. Some nice footage there.
Too busy planting vegetables matey
Whoa that first kill....class
Hello fella great to hear your on the mend buddy, just wanted to pop in to say I have been watching your videos when I’ve had the time to but as you know and said on a previous video is when you’ve got your own channel it takes so much of your time up, much more than I ever expected! But enjoying it nevertheless. Take care mate and look from to future videos.
That’s really kind of you chap. Thanks very much for your support, I’ve now dried up my backlog of footage, so unfortunately until I get my car, scopes and other equipment back, and I’m ready for action, that’s all for now 👍👍👍
You're preparing a delicious last meal for your victim I'm sure?
Can’t have them go out hungry
nice one 😊
Glad to keep you company mate I would be climbing the walls as well if I was stuck inside for months on end healing, back to it soon enough me old mucker
Thanks very much matey for everything you’ve done for me on this one and the one in August 👊👍
I used peanuts, but it was becoming too expensive, now use feed wheat a hell of alot cheaper and does the same job
Maize often works too, but I’ve not had much luck using it
Nice one old chap, I've taught you well 🤓
Yes indeed you have 🫵👍
hope all going well and your hearling nicely , iv got some fotage for you they need editing how do i send them to you please
Hi Mick,
If you email me, I’ll reply with my contact details 👍👍
Hi great commentary and unfortunate re from orange. I did notice your feeder is that home made?
Hello Paul, the feeder is made by a friend of mine called Jake Williams. I did a video about the feeder in August when I had my first hip replacement surgery. There’s also mention and Jake’s contact details on one of the wild boar videos I did with TeamFoxer, and Robin was also given a feeder, that’s going to feature in his next squirrel video out soon
Hope you're healing well Bionic Chap.
Yes thanks matey, gradually getting better every day 👍
Nice video that young man and yes we all make mistakes except me 😁😁😂😂 if only!! Looking forward to tour up and coming video's mate will be in touch.
Cheers Jimbo,

@@predatorprotectionuk you certainly will 👍
That’s great thank you for the prompt reply.
No problem Paul, that’s the least I can do if you’ve taken the time to write to me. Thanks for your support chum 👍
Hip hip hooray, glad to see they have been a success 😂
Yes indeed they are.
In fact my birthday party later in the year is called the HipHipHoray party 👍👍👍
Our gamekeeper can't count either 😂
Hundreds he said 🤣🤣🤣
Did you say that the trail camera footage is from HIK Micro please ?
Hello David, yet it’s from my M15 trail camera. There’s a strong 4g signal in that vicinity and that footage came from the camera
Thanks.@@predatorprotectionuk
Nice work David 👏
Thanks matey 👍
It's great to see you out an about, even if it is only pre-operation. Thank you for this; I really enjoyed it. So, you need a record switch that links directly to your brain, as on/off is too complicated? Let's work on that... And what is up with the Sightmark Wraith? ... I am really looking forward to your being healthy and up-and-about again. All my best wishes to you. Jim
Hi Jim,
The scope is great, it just didn’t like that sudden drop in temperature. If I know it’s going to be really cold, I normally leave the rifle in the porch to acclimatise. My fault that morning, it was fine when it was time to pack up.
@@predatorprotectionukOh, OK. So it just doesn't like the sudden change of temperature. I can relate to that myself. For a lot of things, sudden change can be debilitating. Thanks for the clarification. Now the important stuff: How is your recovery coming?
@jimharriss2727 not so bad Jim, thanks. Taking it steady though
Nice to see you out shooting again David 👌, scopes at times have a mind of their own😂😂
Hi Tim,
That’s was in January matey not this week

Thanks Syd , I’ve sent you a message matey👍
I hope you’re back safe from Bastogne 🥶🥶🥶🥶
Nicely done. Great video.
Thanks matey👍
A very nice vintage claret 😊 first shot 💥
You could do with a food mixer my mate 🤭
That would break all the nuts up Dave, it’s easier to put the lid on and roll it around the garden for 5 minutes
Sorry mate I meant an assistant food mixer save you doing it 😉
@littledavey2169 now that’s really kind of you mate, when can you start ? 🤣🤣
@@predatorprotectionuk 🤣😂🤭🖖👍
@@predatorprotectionuk how's the iron work holding my mate getting a bit easier I hope. 👍
Great video as always .Speedy recovery.
Thanks Stephen, I’m hoping another 6 weeks should work wonders 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Great to see you about aga in hope recovery is going to plan 👍
Thanks Pete,
Wait til you see what I’ve had done to my car whilst I’m unable to drive. My mates had it for 6 weeks and has done the full 007 job on it 😳😳😳
@@predatorprotectionuk oh right that sound’s interesting look forward to seeing that. Watched washwildfowler shooting his boar not a bad size. How long before the MD gives you the all clear 🤔
@petetheratman it’s at least another 6-7 weeks mate
@@predatorprotectionuk not be long mate better them joints are right 👍
