新年快乐! Come explore Madrid's Usera District (the de-facto chinatown) for Chinese New Year!
In today's vlog, we are checking out Chinese New Year activities here in Usera, the Barrio Chino of Madrid. Usera Madrid is known for it's huge Chinese community. Today we'll walk the streets of Usera and watch the Chinese New Year parade and festivities for the Year of the Rabbit 2023. Although the neighborhood of Usera isn't as built up nor as large as some Chinatowns in other major cities, the spirit of its people can be seen in today's Chinese New Year celebrations. Join me in this vlog as I show you how Chinese New Year is celebrated here in Madrid Spain!

See many Chinese-Americans or Cantonese Speakers? How about 香港人？Is there such thing as SBC (Spanish born Chinese)?
Any feel for the composition of the attendees?

When I’ve eaten and walked around in Usera in other times, I’ve mostly encountered people from 温州 some specifically from 青田. And yes quite a few Spanish born Chinese.
I haven’t seen many ABC or Cantonese speakers in Usera, but I’ve met a small amount throughout Madrid.
