- Upanga neighborhood in dar es salaam city Tanzania, is an administrative ward in the Ilala District of the Dar es Salaam Region of Tanzania. According to the 2012 census, the ward has a total population of more than 30000 people, this is one of the most calm neghbourhood in dar es salaam.

Nostalgia. I studied in Upanga Primary School opposite to Diamond Jubilee Hall. Heard it is a military barrack now. If time permits can you please show the house named " Temple House" exactly opposite to the entrance to the Buddhist Temple on Mindu Street. Thanks for all your videos.

Probably this area is East Upanga.What about West Upanga? The road which runs from The Firebrgade to Slealendar Bridge passing bu Azania Secondry School and Muwambili Hospital. East Upanga was built by The Aga Khan Housing Trust .
