My personal interpretation of the lyrics: Radagon’s first set of lyrics tell the story of lands between. “Born in a dark land, borne of the gods” The gods first come to the Lands Between and plant erdtree. “Written in gold hand, all of its laws” The golden order is founded and conquers the Lands Between. “Blessed by our will, broken apart” The Lands Between are blessed by Marika/Radagon and the greater will with eternal rebirth, establishing the golden order’s eternal rule. Until Marika shatters the Elden Ring, causing it to break apart. “Now as the sky stills, shatter the heart” The shattering occurs and war breaks out between the demigods across the Land Between. “Bound by the will and taken” The erdtree, along with the remains of the Elden Ring, is sealed away by the greater will. “Our hopes fore’er forsaken” With all the empyreans having either fallen or turned their backs on the order, Radagon and the greater will’s hopes of one mending the Elden Ring and restoring the golden order are lost. “The Lands Between lie shaken” The Lands Between is lost and fractured from the effects of the shattering. This is the world you play in during the game. “Here as the gods awaken!” The present moment here and now. The Tarnish has reached the Elden Ring with the power to mend it and create a new order. Radagon and the greater will awaken in response to make their last stand to protect what little remains of their golden order. Radagon’s second set of lines establishes his obedience to the greater will and his desire to protect the golden order. “Behold the Ring” Referrers to the Elden Ring you can see within Radagon himself. “By domain lord and king” Even with the golden order in ruins, Radagon and the greater will still see themselves as the gods and rulers of the Lands Between. Also refers to the fact that the Elden Ring is the key to ruling the Lands Between. “Shatter the bonds” The greater will’s command to shatter the bonds of grace and guidance between Marika and the Tarnished. “Bring ruin to the Elden Ones” The greater will’s command to destroy those guided by Marika’s grace to become Elden Lord. The only ones who now can, but doing so will mean the end of the golden order. The Tarnished. The Elden Ones. All of Marika's lines (the chorus) refer to her desire for the Tarnished to mend the Elden Ring and found a new order free of the greater will. Also, just wanted to say this is one of my favorite songs in gaming and this cover is one of my favorites by MOTI and more than does this incredible song justice. Thank you so much for your amazing work!
See, now this is more accurate to how many times i had to try and fight this boss.
Alex and Darby banding together to form a perfect ying and Yang of singing really well high and singing really well low
The best part is if it were flipped it would still be amazing
