If you're going to be using the TopLift Pro or similar, we recommend placing something in between the headliners and the lift to displace the weight so that the lift doesn't leave imprints onto the headliner panels and damage them. What is the benefit of these side panels?

Great question, Kevin. Although there is some functional benefit, the Rear Side Window panels are mostly for aesthetics to make the inside of your Jeep look complete. You will notice the biggest difference with just the Skyliner itself.
