Lots of confusion from what I have read about the British formation. It seems likely they didn’t use the same sorts of attack columns as the French, but ultimately I think it’s a matter of game balance than anything else

Used column of grand division, 2 companies wide, but forming line was a retrograde movement

What bases sizes are you using?

to be honest we are pretty flexible as rebasing is a ballache. But newer figures are based 4 figures on 2.5cmx2.5cm
