Please be careful when picking your Elephant Sanctuary and do your research before you go. Sadly, there only are very few true sanctuaries in Thailand. Places where tourists wash elephants are problematic. While elephants need/like to be washed every day, they need to cover themselves with dirt to protect from the sun. Places where tourists wash elephants probably have tours in the mornings and afternoons, so animals get washed several times a day. My family visited Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand several times and love how they educate visitors, not just on elephants, but also on other Thai wildlife.
really like this format and oh my gosh those elephants
Thailand is the paradise and second home for all visitor !!!
Hi, greetings from South Korea!
We met in the truck after the elephant tour, you remember? It was pleasure to talk with you about traveling,
I really enjoyed your videos and hope things go well with your next journey! 😊
An nyeong! It was so nice meeting you two on this day😁🙌🏻. Thank you! We’d love to come visit you in Seoul soon! Safe travels and see you one day😁😁
Love that you don’t have any music that it’s just thie natural sounds. Easy…peaceful. ❤️ my daughter just got back from Australia/Thailand. She spent 2 1/2 weeks on her trip and she loves animals so the experience with the elephants being treated so wonderfully has really touched her heart. My favorite picture of her is in the water with the elephants!❤️
Most welcome to our country. Thanks for visiting and please come again and again.
Hello!! Chiang Mai experience is good!! Elephants are infinite love❤ Thailand is a beautiful country. I have visited Thailand more than 20 times. I enjoyed the video. It’s nice to watch because it’s not a program that abuses elephants. It’s a great program to interact with elephants, such as feeding elephants, bathing elephants, and taking a walk. Thank you for posting the video💗🌸💗
You look so beautiful as usual. Wow! Never been to Thailand. Wanted go for the Womens Volleyball but was already full. I heard Thailand is so beautiful. And people are friendly. Hopefully will make it there soon. Especially after watching your video, it would be even better.
I definitely like this type of video better than your lists and organise best ofs. to follow you two around on your normal day, showing your personalities and the fantastic areas you get into on your normal daily routines,is fantastic. You do still explain everything so well , your laughter and your easy personalities really comes through, happy travels. Can’t wait for your next vlog. Definitely make more like this one ✔️✔️
Thanks for sharing your elephant sanctuary experience with all of us, we got to see a very different kind of vlog thanks to your awesome channel. Hope you guys enjoyed this unique experience as much as we enjoyed watching this video. Thanks again for taking us along with you guys in these tours. Love & respect from Bangladesh
Thank you for being here and watching🥹🙏🏻
I enjoyed this style of video. It was really interesting seeing small clips of all there is to do there, as well as the shots of the scenery and the interactions with local people. The food also looked nice.
Welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭 ❤🎉😊
Hey guys, really enjoyed this style. Very natural. But then again you tend to be that way even in your other videos which is refreshing.
We enjoyed this style of video. It allowed us to see you interact with the locals, which we loved! And it allowed us to see more of Rhett’s personality emerge. And we’re always here for more footage of precious elephants. 😊🐘
Thank you for letting us know guys!🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰
Hi, Rhett & Claire! Oh, this is a very refreshing change of video style & presentation. I loved it! This gives us a lot more depth, dimension and meaning behind compared to your usual video style. And it is also can be more enriching and engaging if there is a true cause behind it. In this case the topic is on animal abuse. Keep them coming! Keen to visit Chiang Mai, Thailand one fine day! Great content & story-telling! Thank you.
Thank you for saying that, we love hearing feedback from you!😁🙌🏻❤️. More to cooome!
It's a beautiful video. Elephants are very cute creatures ❤
Love this video so much. It was raw, authentic, and so much information.
I loved this vlog! I think this format is a wonderful balance to your cinematic guides. It would also allow for fewer overlap of footage in your videos. I'd also like to see more vlogs about traveling, planning trips, and the boring practical details of being a nomad.
Love the raw and quick video format.
I had a crush on Jarunee the movie star when I was living in Thailand in 1982-1983
omg the elephants are adorable!
Yes yes and another yes. Keep on making more videos like this. You made me late for work this morning. 😅 Very good content. Claire I also thought the guy said "macaroni".
I loved this thank you so much Rhett and Claire!!!

It was absolutely amazing🥹🥹. You have to book a trip here!

Great vlog ❤
I like both kinds of videos, 😊
Another wonderful vlog mam love to see your vlog from Pakistan 🙂. Best regards from Pakistan 🙂. May Allah SWT bless you and your family from Pakistan 🙂.
Fantastic
How did you meet, Guys in 2015?
At work? At play?
What are your ages? Guessing Claire is in her mid-20's but how old are you Rhett, please?
People feel like they want to get to know you both more because you come across so endearingly.
Really loved this video. Would please guide me that how can I experience this kinda trip in Chiang Mai?
Looking forward to hearing from you 😃
Me too please
And of course if your new style raw type of vlogin allows you to do more Vlogs per week that would be fantastic ,love watching you guys, awesome vlogs all the time, but these real life ones are so much better 👌and by the way with all your exercising that you were talking about you two are looking fantastic. Keep it up,very inspiring ✔️
Thank you Sharon! We really appreciate your input and you being here🥹❤️
Welcome to Thailand...If you are interesting...Elephant kingdom at the Surin province, North-Eastern....
❤awesome place
Nice that you support this Elephant Prisons 😢
Why do you say that?
I admire Claire for travelling with what she admitted she had, in an earlier video. IBS is really rough to live with. A loo must be at hand.
It’s very difficult 🙏🏻. I can’t imagine how people with Gluten intolerance travel though! Must be even harder 🥹
@@RhettandClaire Well, I admire you being on the go, immensely! My late father had a problem similar to yours. If the fellow was not inches away from a toilet when he had to go … well, things got rather tricky rather quickly.
Claire, you are always so plucky and full of life. When you told we viewers you had what you did, I almost fainted because one would never have guessed from how you came across, to what you had said, to all the activities in which you engage that you are suffering.
I think you are amazing, Girl.
And you gave a good nature to you, as well. 🙏
@@SuiGenerisAbbie that means a lot, thank you so much🥹🙏🏻. I feel for your late father, it takes a mental toll as well🙈
@@RhettandClaire God yes!
You both are so cute 😊
Did you like this one day excursion or was it too much? Going to stay for one night was thinking to do day excursion then stay over. Or just buy ala cart activities. I think the only thing I saw that may be not something I would want to do is the waterfall hike?
It was quite a long day to be honest, we’d probably just recommend doing the activities you want to do and definitely stay over. Get the wake-up call too by the elephants🥰
@@RhettandClaire thanks this helps a lot!!
เก่งจังครับ
Admin คุณควรมีsupภาษาไทยด้วยครับ
Its good to see ppl not riding elephants. ❤
Please don’t worry much about the style of your videos. I just love seeing your genuine smiles ☺️ you guys are pure love 🧿 btw I am from Turkey so thanks for sharing my beautiful country with your viewers 🙏🏼
You’re so kind 🥹❤️. Thank you for being here!
What elephant sanctuary did you both go in Chiang Mai Rhett & Claire?
ขอให้แอดมินเที่ยวเมืองไทยให้สนุกเมืองไทยยินดีต้อนรับนักท่องเที่ยวทุกท่าน
Let’s collaborate next time you here in Thailand
สวัสดีครับ
😊😅
More content and less editing please 🤘🏻 love your videos!
You two are very appealing and I do love your channel, but, ... I also really wish you were more responsive to viewer questions.
We reply quite a lot and whenever we can, it’s extremely time consuming and there’s so many other things to do🙏🏻. I’d just prefer not to answer personal questions in such a public place😊🙏🏻
@@RhettandClaire I understand better now.
👍 Thank you for the clarification, Guys. 👍
Now, where do you entertain answering such questions (if one may ask.)
Curiosity still has not killed the cat yet, you know. 😉
I guess I never thought that what I asked was all that personal. But, I also had never meant to cause any offence as well.
Cheers, - Abbie
@@SuiGenerisAbbie we reply on Instagram messages all the time, it’s better there😁❤️❤️
@@RhettandClaire Thanks for the hot tip!
I am on Instagram AND threads!
@@RhettandClaire What posts on Instagram should we message you under in order to have a chance at a response?
Your last post was at the end of April I just noticed.
Did they require jackets ?
For the raft? Yes
People think Thailand means only boom boom
What’s boom boom?
@@RhettandClaire check on google 😂
Chiang Mai is so overrated. For starters, if you arrive by train or bus, prepare for a little trip to the old town, because it's a bit away. Even the airport is closer to the old than the bus or train station, which is just ridiculous... Oh, speaking of the "old town", it's not exactly that old. Or pretty for that matter. After seing temples in Bangkok, Kanchanaburi and Ayutthaya, what Chiang Mai has to offer in this department is really disappointing. It's say there are two decent, worth visiting temples in Chiang Mai, the silver temple outside the old town, and the biggest one, literally in the center of the old town. Oh and the one at the monk's trail, in the forest. All these great attractions that people are talking about, they are not in the city of Chiang Mai, you need to get a taxi, tuk tuk, or rent a scooter to get there... The traffic, especially in the old town area is horrible, mostly because of the layout of the road. It's a good base, to travel around, but the city itself is really a waste of time. Maybe it's a nice place to live as am expat, beacuse compared to Bangkok it's cheaper, it's rather well maintained and clean, less hookers and homeless people. But from the tourist point if view I don't really understand why there's so much hype about this city. And if something worth visiting is an hour or more away, it's hardly fair to say, it's in Chiang Mai. It's like saying that London is nice because it's an hour by train from the sea. But it's no seaside. Hope I made my point.
Did you even watch our video before commenting this?
@@RhettandClaire My comment wasn't as much about your video, and more of a city of Chiang Mai itself. I think people should know that you can really be disappointed with it, because of all this unjustified hype surrounding it... Chiang Rai is so much better in my opinion. Less touristy, more authentic, more Thai, better temples.
It's ok to ride horses and to make them do "unnatural" things but it's not ok to ride elephants or make them play football. How does that work?
Did we say it’s okay to ride horses? We’re completely opposed to that too.
East Asia they eat all cans animals big no no..
Wast of time sorry😂
Not an ethical "sanctuary" really should have done your research 👎
I did do my research. Where are you getting your info from?
@@RhettandClaire do you think elephants being forced to lie down in a river Multiple times a day so you can throw water over them is ethical? 😂
Who cares about narcissists?
