I have a 632 cubic inch a GM crate motor at 1000 hp out of the crate and Iam hoping to take out the guy from Sweden at 112 and I see 120-125 mph and this motor only has fuel injection no blowers or turbos just some huge cubic inch so we will see if I can take him out !!
I want to try a 572 GM crate motor and get some work on the bottom of the boat with a step bottom to lose a bunch of drag and gain a lot of speed I would think I would at least 90 mph but might have to get a stronger out drive. I have a all aluminum 572 ci that’s at 676 Fumo pull so we will se .
That boat is a bit of an odd bird. It’s too big and stable to have any more fun on a lake than what a 19 foot bass boat, with a 200 could do. And it’s too small to go offshore unless the conditions are just right. It’s still awesome though!!
