Subscribed! I gotta ask, why those hubs stick out so far you have room for 2 wheel nuts and still have excess length?? Will those wheels not stay tight with a stock type hub with one wheel nut? Seems a shame to mess up the looks of those wheels with double wheel nuts and all
Hi, I'm using the M2C double nut wheel hexes as it was a recommended upgrade to stop the stock Mojave wheels falling off, which may result in stripped wheel hexes, however one run I didn't torque them nuts down enough and I did end up losing one m2c lock nut hence the 1x stock nut used (didn't damage the wheel hex or anything on that run). The upgrade realistically is not needed with the Vitavon rims I reckon, but I like the look of it all being silver personally. With silver/red Vitavon wheels and the stock wheel hex, that would look pretty neat aswell, however in the long run I want to remove the red anodizing of my Mojave, but I'm not in any rush ;p Many thanks for the sub!
@@michaelrc9098 I prefer the closed style flanged wheel nuts myself. Oddly enough on 5th scale gassers we run the guys use the serrated flange wheel nuts even on alloy wheels. They stay tight though. On these wheels I want to try non serrated closed end flange nuts. Definitely gonna have to loctite them if I'm gonna have any chance of them staying tight
@@thatoneguy2756 I prefer flanged nuts as they don't fall into the recess of your hex tool, not ran 5th scale petrol but loctite sounds like a good start, and talking about these Arrma trucks, these double nut systems aren't really needed, just a good tighten + loctite
The most fabulous best YT channel in the world 👍
Appreciate it buddy, while I'd like to disagree, I massively appreciate the support 😊 Cheers!
Great job video 👍
