She is racist. Our Aboriginal people receive enormous funding every year and we see nothing for it - where does it all go? My uncle was indigenous - his 4 sons did well in life, my indigenous friend Karen played for the Australian Matildas she has a degree and a doctorate all from her ownenergy - The Matildas were generously supported by Westfields (John Saunders and Frank Lowie whom I knew back then) and all I hear is we none indigenous lot are somehow the problem - the problem is the huge funding they receive every year goes down one big black hole. Oh Lydia, there are so many reason to be grateful for all our lives in Australia. History from every country is littered with tragedies and sorrow which have been overcome by those who followed. Perhaps you should read 'Voices from the Past' which has examined all historic interaction with the Aborigines in South Australia so that their interests and well being was paramount. Stop calling them first country, they were never organized as a country, they were nomads tribes during the Stone age living from the land, fighting among themselves when the English arrived in the 10 Century while was the Renaissance Era in Europe. However the English + Europeans in less than 200 Years turned this country in one of the best in the world.
