This was exceptional! I respect your patience and how you methodically traced the locations of possible problems and eliminated each one. And repair that carburetor too! Too bad it was faulty. Great job overall. Steady that camera and it would have been perfection.

had a no start twice - replaced the carbs - solved the problem - the source of the problem was the fuel line that came on the 8750 W Generator wasn't compatible with the ethanol in the fuel - inside of fuel line was deteriorating and clgging the needle and valve seat and the plunger in the bottom of the fuel bowl. Replaced the fuel line with 'Gates' Brand 3/16 in. id line.

@@texascclp1445 Awesome good job! You are correct. Ethanol can damage fuel lines and other items. Nice job glad you got er running

The rpm sounds low . It should be around 3600 rpm or 61. 5 to 62 Hertz. When you test it make sure the idle control is off .

@@Evadingmoto that certainly can happen . I've had several friends that took their portable generators into a shop that replaced their carburators and the engine ran fine afterwards
. Only to find out that the shop never tested the rpm or hertz after replacement and the voltage was down around 110 or 105 v . On one of them I adjusted the rpm/hertz and got the voltage to 122v . The other one I had to bring the rpm/Hertz up and also adjust the AVR to achieve 122v . Why some shops don't check them for correct rpm / hertz and voltage before giving them back to a customer I'll never understand . But it happens .

I just swap the carb every year. Wasted too much time playing and getting nowhere. 17 bucks on Amazon.
