I’m probably not the only one to suggest this to companies that have just one truck parking there overnight, but they should give you a sticker so you can put it on your window saying authorized a time off or resting time. Just for that wrecker reason

😂 bro when I started trucking I would use the buttons on the truck to put the volume down on the music and other things like switch to drive 😂 and when I would get in my car I would try to put the volume down in my regular car that doesn’t have it 🤦🏻♂️😂 always funny and embarrassing to yourself 😂when you do things like that 🤷🏻♂️

My friend worked for a company where she went to sterling pipe 3 times a week with a appointment time and would sit 5, sometimes 7, 8, hours. I did it once and sat 10 hours waiting to get loaded

Got done eating at the restaurant. Pause the video so I can drive the very first left turn. I needed to make.
There's two cars. The one goes and is gone, The other one slows down with me. He's realized I'm slowing down to make the turn. And is hoping I will hit him, even though I haven't turned on the signal. Cause I wanted him to just keep going like the first. I'm sure he was trying to make me hit him. Not realizing. I knew he was there because I didn't turn my head and look. I don't have to, I can look at the side of my pickup, with my mirror, and see the reflection of a vehicle when in my blind spot. He positioned himself so perfectly, That was the only way I could see him. Yes, he made me miss the turn.

I get dizzy too.
But it’s the head point of view that makes these videos interesting because we thus see more exactly what he’s seeing or talking about. Dash mount would eliminate that perspective.
One rule of driving. Assume they don’t see you. Safer.

Was told during training that people that hit low bridges and such are often the experienced drivers that has been driving for years then get to drive a different truck that might be taller than the one they have been driving, and oops :)
