How to Paint a Whimsical Bird in Watercolor

- I find so much inspiration in the work of other artists! I have two watercolor friends that I find myself constantly referring to for new ways of looking at art, and their styles could not be more different! They are Natasha, The Mightier Pencil, and Ohn Mar Win. They've both been using a technique where they apply paint to the paper before doing the "real" painting. Natasha told me she was actually inspired by Ohn Mar, so it's all full circle! I gave it a try and painted a whimsical bird that I really love!

You are my muse. I have had a tragic few years, from covid to bad illness to being trapped in a house fire and coma. My councillor suggested art and I stumbled on your videos. I am excited at your pieces and techniques and use them as inpiration for my own. I was always scared of watercolor and now Im excited from project to project. Thank you so much for your hard work and just being an honest beautiful lady. I am a huge fan now and maybe someday you will see some of my pieces on your travels. Huge hug and heartfelt Thank You.

I just found you yesterday during a YT search for neurographic art. I couldn’t stop watching your videos! You are wonderfully delightful! Your enthusiasm is infectious. I saw this on TikTok yesterday, and had some downtime in the afternoon but only had my iPad with me - so I followed the same kind of steps with Adobe Fresco, and it worked! I did my cat in the same style today - so cute! Thank you for sharing your art with us ❤
