    I have grown so much since the last three months of finding your channel. I didn't have much funds to join the mentorship for I am a nursing student but you deserve the credit for my recovery.I am not out of the woods yet I struggle but I know how to respond and know I would be a better person. I would definitely recommend your mentorship to anyone struggling. You're doing a great job and I hope more people find you channel and know that recovery is possible.

    Oh Shaan, I have that same problem, if something is physically wrong I know what to do to get better, there is a cure (hopefully)...With anxiety I feel like I’m not strong enough to get better. I have bad physical symptoms and I don’t sleep much. I appreciate this video and all of them. I want to be myself again so bad. I just want to stop being dizzy, ugh 🥺🥺

    Shaan's videos have almost got me to recovery. I can't afford the mentorship but Shaan has the answers. Shaan, my symptoms have mostly faded to a very low level. I get triggered when I physically exert. It takes me then a couple of days to get back to a normal baseline again. Is this a normal part of recovery? Thanks so much Shaan!

    With no doubt a person who has gone through suffering and has managed to climb out of it makes them different-living life in the present with more resilience towards future stressors.
    In Paul David’s book in chapter 3 he mentions his therapist told him that “he would never get better until he would STOP TRYING to get better.” Plain and simple. In Claire Weekes book in Chapter 1-she mentions that we may think it’s an illness of how we feel --how we feel depends on HOW and WHAT we think-therefore we can recover. I have been meditating for a few years and continue to meditate--it helps me stay in the moment giving my brain a break-it’s my choice to continue-as well as walking in a daily basis. But having discovered Shaan has helped me understand the science making sense of this state we call anxiety. I have morning anxiety and since discovering Shaan I don’t dread it anymore. It’s not easy at times which is a good thing because that’s when the work is worth it. Thank you Shaan for all your wonderful videos-they give people like me HOPE. 😉🇨🇦

    I have tried to recover on my own since november last year and I am not getting anywhere. I feel like I can do this anymore. I have sevear health anxiety. My piggest fear at the moment is having or getting ALS or MS. I have sensations i my right leg at the area of my thight, it's as if it's iching inside my muscle. Feels like an area gets numb on my thigh my not numb to the touch. I feel like my life is hell. The doctors don't find anything but I feel like this is a first symptom of something serious. I watched a video of guy with ALS about 4 months ago and since then I have weird symptoms. I know that the symptoms I had before after I watched the video were just me worrying, but now I have real symptoms in my thing. 😔😥😢

      Just say: "I don't have it !" Make your mind believe that. Health anxiety can be overcome. The reason for hypochondria and anxiety is (for most part): people get upset and lonely on their inside (bc of some sort of behavior) e.g. lacking good relationships/social connections in life. ALS/diabetes/AIDS/MS/Cancer have a genetic predisposition

      @@barinero.93 thank you so much! Your answer means so much to me. I have more or less been alone for about 7 years now. Maybe that's why I developed this? I have my kids but no support or understanding really from my family.

    • @barinero.93
      @barinero.93 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lisamarie2353 Of course. Chronic loneliness can lead to many (mental) health issues. Without social (external) support, esp. close friends e.g. lonely people start to ruminate a lot, diving into the inside, becoming much more insecure etc. In other words: you become weak. Loneliness is not a joke as most people think. Never forget - we as people are social creatures, we want to be loved, understood and connected with others. Relationships, friendships and social love (I call it "social soup") is what makes us stronger, enabling us to overcome each hindering in life 💖 💪. Accept yourself, love yourself, don't compare yourself with others and stay away from toxic people that only want to suck out your energy and power. (Health) anxiety is a sign that you became insecure on your inside owing to chronic loneliness 😢. It sucks, but the life gives you a chance to become mentally stronger.

      @@barinero.93 I think you are right. After going to shiatsu-massage I understood how important simply the caring touch of another human being is! I felt so amazing and relaxed that moment. I realised that what I need is a hug sometimes and to feel comfort from another human being. I don't have that. I have been struggling for so long all alone without help or support. It's just terrible what loneliness can do. It makes one sick. And how sad isn't it to see how nobody, not even your family, cares 💔😔. Thank you again ❤️🙂
