Really love this idea of winding down on a Sunday. I always fall out of the habit of baths because I live in a house that was built in the 1904; it still has the amazing giant bathtub, but the water heater can only fill it so much, so in the winter it’s miserably cold. But in the summer it’s glorious, like bathing in a small swimming pool!

Before Today is a beautiful mauve and it fits in perfectly with the colours I use every day. The other products were a full-size Kosasport lip balm, an eyeshadow from Aether, Lilah B. tinted lip oil, RMS living glow powder, and the Tarte surfer curl mascara. I have been enjoying using the products.

I would recommend the hurraw lip balms. They have really moisturizing formulas, great scents, and tinted options. I only have cherry (the scented red tinted one) in my country. But I got the chamomile one a long time ago and they are both really nice.
Currently I'm living in my college dormitory and has no access to bath but I'm glad that every weekend I can have a full me-time, though I've been having a lot of me-time during the lockdown.. My me-time is just focusing on skincare where i do mask and exfoliate my skin then really took my time in the shower to scrub all dirts and dead skin, and use body care where I'd normally skip in weekdays.. Surely it's our calming and soothing moment given the situation..

Polishing my nails always helps to relax me. And I love Nécessaire! TH-cam definitely made me buy it and it’s the best decision ever. I have really terrible eczema but I still want a scented body wash. I was also surprised that the body scrub didn’t irritate my skin and the body lotion doesn’t heal my marks but it does soothe them, so I don’t itch. Now I’m really interested in the body serum.

I also personal love the glossier face mask, most face mask never make me feel refreshed, they will usually make my skin either break out or red and dry. Though, Glossier’s face mask makes my skin soft smooth and glowing, I use it when I’m super stressed about something or feeling down. It always makes me feel loved and calm. 🥰 i would love to try the pillow spray! You describe it so beautiful. If I’m being honest you describe everything beautifully!

I have three brands I want you to try sooo badly: Elf for both skincare and makeup, Colourpop/Fourth Ray (It's the same website but one is skincare and the other is makep) and the one I want you to try the most is alleyoop! It sounds weird but it's actually great. They have only a few products, and the style is more natural, kind of similar to what you like. i really reccomend these!

I walked into a Sephora store yesterday to grab some essentials and the sight of it made me feel melancholy. No samples were available. There wasn't a crowd to fight through. There wasn't any excitement to be felt when entering sephora. I really hope that we all will be able to fight through this pandemic together and slowly get back to normalcy soon. :)

I find three light coats helps to make the colour more even, and waiting about 5 minutes between each coat will help each layer dry and your mani last longer x

Sorry for the late reply Olivia - I always use it in an upwards/outwards motion (starting at my chin and going out along my jawline, starting at my cheeks and going up towards my temples etc). The brand my Gua Shua is from called Zove Beauty have some tutorials on their Instagram! ☺️👍 x
You mention you've used Necessaire's products every day for more than a year- in your experience, how long does each product last? (i.e. Body Wash, Exfoliator, Lotion) Thanks!
Good question Giovanni! It definitely varies depending on how much of each product you use, and how often you use them 👍 A Nécessaire Body Wash lasts me about 8-10 weeks (I'm quite generous with it because I love the scents, but a little bit goes a long way because it lathers so well so I'd say it could easily outlast that). I started a new Eucalyptus Body Exfoliator in January and have used it exclusively once or twice a week since then, but it still feels very full. I don't apply the Body Serum and Body Lotion every day (I need to get better at that!), only every few days, so they tend to last for several months x

There’s so much going on in adapting to our new world and to help ourselves to be in a better support to others we need to be the best version of ourselves and self care is critical here. Just changed my previous body scrub nylon loofah for a reusable circular cotton body cloth which fits on your hand making shower and bath products a breeze to apply. Changed over after swapping cotton wool for washable cotton pads last year. Great to see a new British brand for me in here too. My favourite Lanolips is Pear... reminds me of childhood sweeties!!! Another gorgeous video Matilda (still hooked on the nail vids too!!) SYNT ❤️❤️❤️

i tried using reusable cotton last year but they tend to soak up more product and decrease the micellar effectiveness. i've switched to oil/balm cleanser now so don't really use cotton as often. maybe i just haven't found reusable cotton brand that suit me yet, glad you find the right one for you!
Good point! The surface area is often larger and they're much more absorbent, so I try to resist the temptation to add more product and just imagine I'm pouring it out onto the small cotton rounds I used to use 👍 x
While I'm in the bath! If one of these bath oils is in the water, I'll turn the tap back on and use a handful of fresh water when I need to wash off any products 👍 x
I wish I could try the Nécessaire body care products but the best brands never ship internationally! It’s so frustrating! I use La Roche Posay body care at the moment which is great but not life changing. Loved this video as always!

Had a long day of work standing all day and our water supply is a bit short here in Auckland, so no baths at the moment :( My face has been really acting up since the change in season... the Ren AHA ready steady glow tonic that I've been steadily using for the past 7 months suddenly made my face burn and turn red and irritated, and I woke up yesterday morning with dry flakes. So this Sunday night I had to do a 'rescue skin' routine for my self-care haha! I used the Ren Evercalm Rescue Mask to calm the skin, and then a Kate Somerville DeliKate Recovery Face serum that's apparently full of ceramides that I'm trying to rescue my moisture barrier with, and then a Cerave Moisturising Facial Lotion that has niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and ceramides (Btw have you tried this brand? It's a pretty popular American brand that ITG seems to love) and then some Drunk Elephant Lala Retro + Marula Oil. Hopefully, my skin will be in better shape tomorrow. Love your videos as always... so calming to watch right before bed! Hoping for Necessaire to ship to New Zealand in the future! SAME WITH OLIVE & JUNE! haha I would also love to try that Sandalwood body wash and deodorant. I hope it smells a teeny bit like Santal 33 haha! I'm going to look into getting one of those muscle gels. Hope you're doing okay... my friends in Melbourne are having to go back into lockdown :( not sure where you're staying, but hope things are looking up slowly xx

I have three brands I want you to try sooo badly: Elf for both skincare and makeup, Colourpop/Fourth Ray (It's the same website but one is skincare and the other is makep) and the one I want you to try the most is alleyoop! It sounds weird but it's actually great. They have only a few products, and the style is more natural, kind of similar to what you like. i really reccomend these!

I walked into a Sephora store yesterday to grab some essentials and the sight of it made me feel melancholy. No samples were available. There wasn't a crowd to fight through. There wasn't any excitement to be felt when entering sephora. I really hope that we all will be able to fight through this pandemic together and slowly get back to normalcy soon. :)
I haven't been into any beauty stores for four or five months maybe, but I can imagine it feels very surreal. I hope that bustle and excitement can come back too ❤️ x

Thank you! Absolutely, definitely planning to feature more Olive & June content and painting tips in future 👍💅 GH is definitely one of their trickier shades! I find three light coats helps to make the colour more even, and waiting about 5 minutes between each coat will help each layer dry and your mani last longer x

Thank you so much for this video. Since all of this EXTRA cleaning is needed these days...my skin has been devastated. So dry and painful I find it hard to rest at night. Sorry for the late reply Olivia - I always use it in an upwards/outwards motion (starting at my chin and going out along my jawline, starting at my cheeks and going up towards my temples etc). The brand my Gua Shua is from called Zove Beauty have some tutorials on their Instagram! ☺️👍 x

You mention you've used Necessaire's products every day for more than a year- in your experience, how long does each product last? (i.e. Body Wash, Exfoliator, Lotion)

Good question Giovanni! It definitely varies depending on how much of each product you use, and how often you use them 👍 A Nécessaire Body Wash lasts me about 8-10 weeks (I'm quite generous with it because I love the scents, but a little bit goes a long way because it lathers so well so I'd say it could easily outlast that). I started a new Eucalyptus Body Exfoliator in January and have used it exclusively once or twice a week since then, but it still feels very full. I don't apply the Body Serum and Body Lotion every day (I need to get better at that!), only every few days, so they tend to last for several months x

There’s so much going on in adapting to our new world and to help ourselves to be in a better support to others we need to be the best version of ourselves and self care is critical here. Just changed my previous body scrub nylon loofah for a reusable circular cotton body cloth which fits on your hand making shower and bath products a breeze to apply. Changed over after swapping cotton wool for washable cotton pads last year. Great to see a new British brand for me in here too. My favourite Lanolips is Pear... reminds me of childhood sweeties!!! Another gorgeous video Matilda (still hooked on the nail vids too!!) SYNT ❤️❤️❤️

Unfortunately not, their scents are much too strong for me x
i tried using reusable cotton last year but they tend to soak up more product and decrease the micellar effectiveness. i've switched to oil/balm cleanser now so don't really use cotton as often. maybe i just haven't found reusable cotton brand that suit me yet, glad you find the right one for you!
Good point! The surface area is often larger and they're much more absorbent, so I try to resist the temptation to add more product and just imagine I'm pouring it out onto the small cotton rounds I used to use 👍 x

While I'm in the bath! If one of these bath oils is in the water, I'll turn the tap back on and use a handful of fresh water when I need to wash off any products 👍 x
I wish I could try the Nécessaire body care products but the best brands never ship internationally! It’s so frustrating! I use La Roche Posay body care at the moment which is great but not life changing. Loved this video as always!

So glad that we both live on the same side of the hemisphere so your Sunday night routine comes out for me on a Sunday night! Had a long day of work standing all day and our water supply is a bit short here in Auckland, so no baths at the moment :( My face has been really acting up since the change in season... the Ren AHA ready steady glow tonic that I've been steadily using for the past 7 months suddenly made my face burn and turn red and irritated, and I woke up yesterday morning with dry flakes. So this Sunday night I had to do a 'rescue skin' routine for my self-care haha! I used the Ren Evercalm Rescue Mask to calm the skin, and then a Kate Somerville DeliKate Recovery Face serum that's apparently full of ceramides that I'm trying to rescue my moisture barrier with, and then a Cerave Moisturising Facial Lotion that has niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and ceramides (Btw have you tried this brand? It's a pretty popular American brand that ITG seems to love) and then some Drunk Elephant Lala Retro + Marula Oil. Hopefully, my skin will be in better shape tomorrow. Love your videos as always... so calming to watch right before bed! Hoping for Necessaire to ship to New Zealand in the future! SAME WITH OLIVE & JUNE! haha I would also love to try that Sandalwood body wash and deodorant. I hope it smells a teeny bit like Santal 33 haha! I'm going to look into getting one of those muscle gels. Hope you're doing okay... my friends in Melbourne are having to go back into lockdown :( not sure where you're staying, but hope things are looking up slowly xx
