The best players during the reign of the Big 3: Murray, Wawrinka, Cilic, Nalbandian, and Ferrer have a combined Masters 1000 titles tally of only 19. Murray won 14 of them. He is so mentally tough and has reduced unforced errors to an unbelievably small amount. He doesn't seem to show any negative effects from his age. Quite an amazing athlete. He seems more hungry than ever to be a better player and seems to adjust to any game or style that is thrown his way. These young players must be wondering what they need to do. I thought Dimitrov's style and strategy were great but he just couldn't keep up with Djokovic's consistency on the long rallies. So close but Novak's mental toughness and will stubbornly will not allow himself to make an unforced error. You will very rarely see Novak get down on himself and he is always congratulating the other players for good shots. He is a great role model and sets a wonderful example for young spectators and players to learn from. He just keeps improving. He is a tennis scholar.

After several great wins Grigor unfortunately failed miserably in the final. A very humiliating underperformance against mediocre Djokovic. Tons of unforced errors in short rallies and very low percentage of the first serve. A performance which is very disappointing for an experienced player. A wasted great chance. This was the easiest match for Djokovic in the tournament. Before the match Dimitrov said he is going to give it all in the final. But it appeared to be an empty statement. Not everything but the decisive thing is what’s in your head. That’s why Djokovic is the greatest tennis champion ever and Grigor is a wasted talent in many ways. Only on the talent level Grigor is more talented than Novak. But this by far is not enough for a great career. But I wish Grigor the best of luck next year because it looks like he raised a lot his level of dedication.

The best players during the reign of the Big 3: Murray, Wawrinka, Cilic, Nalbandian, and Ferrer have a combined Masters 1000 titles tally of only 19. Murray won 14 of them.
Even the great Rafa Nadal has only 4 non clay Masters titles.
Djokovic winning 40 of them is truly mind-boggling. And he's done it consistently across eras: The Federer era, the Nadal era, the Djokovic era, the new gen. era and post new gen. era 😅

No one is as strong as Nole, his psychic & mental strength is incredible. No1e 💪
He is so mentally tough and has reduced unforced errors to an unbelievably small amount. He doesn't seem to show any negative effects from his age. Quite an amazing athlete. He seems more hungry than ever to be a better player and seems to adjust to any game or style that is thrown his way. These young players must be wondering what they need to do. I thought Dimitrov's style and strategy were great but he just couldn't keep up with Djokovic's consistency on the long rallies. So close but Novak's mental toughness and will stubbornly will not allow himself to make an unforced error. You will very rarely see Novak get down on himself and he is always congratulating the other players for good shots. He is a great role model and sets a wonderful example for young spectators and players to learn from. He just keeps improving. He is a tennis scholar.

After several great wins Grigor unfortunately failed miserably in the final. A very humiliating underperformance against mediocre Djokovic. Tons of unforced errors in short rallies and very low percentage of the first serve. A performance which is very disappointing for an experienced player. A wasted great chance. This was the easiest match for Djokovic in the tournament. Before the match Dimitrov said he is going to give it all in the final. But it appeared to be an empty statement. Not everything but the decisive thing is what’s in your head. That’s why Djokovic is the greatest tennis champion ever and Grigor is a wasted talent in many ways. Only on the talent level Grigor is more talented than Novak. But this by far is not enough for a great career. But I wish Grigor the best of luck next year because it looks like he raised a lot his level of dedication.

Yes, Nole played flawless tennis! Yes, he is at the top of his game, and probably the best in the world. Not much argument on those aspects. But hats off to Dimitrov for getting into the finals. After Alcaraz beating Djokovic at Wimbledon, I thought Djokovic's reign is coming to an end with Alcaraz and Djokovic winning 50/50, but boy Djokovic's mental toughness and maturity is completely on a different level, he bounced back with no problems and is unstoppable right now

Alcaraz is just the opposite, since winning Wimbledon, he has entered a whopping 6 tournaments, but has 6 losses and no tournament wins. I know Alcaraz is young, only 20 years old, but I think he is playing in way too many tournaments.
