Wish I had watched this before I learned the fret board, no one ever talked about the left side of the root vs to the right, took me a while of screwing around doing the root to root method to kinda figure it out
@@BreenMusicLessonsalways just thought Of it as the d shape I guess since the root I target for that area of the fretboard is on the d string. This is an interesting thought im gonna add to my fretboard memory hank haha

@6idangle i'm glad this helped you out! yea the concept was easier for me once i realized it was 2 chord shapes per root note
