He wasn’t wrong when he called temp a staller though. All Temp does with the glalie is alternate substitute and protect for like 20 turns. I was kinda sad at Temp for taking the high road on it. :c
Then again, none of Temp's pokemon would've made for good switches. Togekiss. Part Flying-Weak to Rock Galarian Moltres. Also part Flying- so again weak to Rock. Glalie. Ice type- Weak to Rock. So honestly he might've had nothing better to do then to just let the Weezing duke it out until it faints.
My favorite part of their rematches is that they told you not to use Glalie again instead of tweaking their team to deal with Glalie, because they don't actually know how to teambuild due to their knowledge of Pokémon boiling down to "big numbers good".
Nearly everyone who plays this game relies on an entirely legendary team. I find that every single player I've played has Zacian, Calyrex-Shadow and either Kyogre or Xerneas or Yveltal (usually all of the above). I personally try to play teams with as few legendaries as possible but it gets frustrating after a while getting one spotted by the same legendaries.
Even worser getting beaten by a person with a chessey ability while they just sit back and do nothing but spam it over and over again and when you lose to them seeing them spamming ez

Agreed. I once swept a legendary spammer with just my Scizor. Not bragging or anything, because how could it be a brag? They had no answer for priority moves, no answer to steel types, no prediction skills, no pivoting skills. Looking up strategies isn’t exactly a bad thing but I can see where you’re coming from. If I want to try out a Pokémon I’m not familiar with or have never used I typically try to see how others approach the move set or stats. There’s no shame in learning a new strategy someone else came up with.

I think the funniest part of the Glalie saga was how he learned literally nothing. Instead of using Zacian, who had at least one super effective move, he switched into the super slow Diancie that enabled you to sweep right before.
I don't know if when they say "You're bad" they realize that tbey've lost against someone that is "bad at pokèmon", making their own defeat way more pathetic. But after all, the combined IQ of every average showdown player is -80.
After watching a few of your videos, I think I've slowly learned the basics as to how this game works. That being said, it probably means something that I don't think it's a good idea to spam the same ineffective attack for ten rounds in a row while your opponent gains stat boosts. And I've NEVER even played a Pokemon game.
Yo, i just beat a guy with a ho-oh, lugia, giratina, electivere, kyogre and a dialga with a team of: wobbuffet (took down lugia and electivire), chansey (died for a safe switch), mimikiu (weakened giratina), lvl1 togedemaru (took down ho-oh and dialga), cinderace (didn’t even come out of the pokeball) and nidoqueen (took down kyogre and giratina), i felt like a god at the moment

The one thing he could've done better is switching to Zacian and using Behemoth Blade a bit earlier against Glalie and Togekiss. Behemoth Blade is really good, even against non-Dynamax. Just whenever something appears to be setting up, kill that thing dead. Especially if Togekiss is relying on Serene Grace hax for Air Slash and Ancient Power. Though he has a bunch of legendaries (why is there 2 Zacian?), they have good tools to counter this team.

Tbf, type advantage won't break a Moody set. You need to bypass Substitute and Protect, which Brick Break by itself won't do for 8 turns, often too late. If you know ahead of time, you can inflict Toxic with a mon faster than Glalie, force a swap with Whirlwind or Roar, or use Haze or Clear Smog to negate the stat boosts (though you'll get chipped by Glalie behind the substitute doing this way, most likely).
try making this "challenge" not allowed to use direct damaging atacks only be able to use toxic, poison and burn effects to inflict damage. pain split and parálisis are valid if you want to use them

@@CLMURD gen 1 and 2 it used to reduce the attack stat by 50% and since gen 3 it has halved damage on physical moves.
So apparently it has always reduced damage.

Tbf, type advantage won't break a Moody set. You need to bypass Substitute and Protect, which Brick Break by itself won't do for 8 turns, often too late.
If you know ahead of time, you can inflict Toxic with a mon faster than Glalie, force a swap with Whirlwind or Roar, or use Haze or Clear Smog to negate the stat boosts (though you'll get chipped by Glalie behind the substitute doing this way, most likely).
