This is actually a great video, nice job guys! I'm sure most people don't think about these issues and details like what goes on when you throw random parts on a vehicle without proper R&D. Nice to see you guys are thinking about it and thanks for sharing with such a cool video. Hope it gets a lot of views.

Excellent technical coverage. Great job. Thanks. Shame manufacturers don't look at innovative chassis floor design and live axles.

My plan is to buy a Winnie EKKO when it comes available later this year or next year and then have you guys to a 2" lift on it. Pretty much the ideal AWD RV.

So what does the kit do to address the rear control arm bolt? I don't see anything.

Soooo what happened to the sub-frame spacers? They aren't part of your lift afterall, how do you explain this?

No subframe spacers can be used. The front driveshaft will not allow us to drop the subframe. We had to compromise and only allow the front of the van to drop out 3/4" with a small strut spacer and coil spring to provide lift. show in the next video.

    Gday
I’m in Australia and want to lift my 2008 transit and try add front drive. Do you know if a kit exists? Or can I use ford ranger kit or other kit?

Why would Ford design a AWD vechile with a factory lift designed for the hiway? Hello?

So...no sub frame spacer, but still up on the website? There is so much confusing information regarding this lift. Sub frame spacer - no sub frame spacer. Bilstein strut - no bilstein strut for AWDs. Please clean up the website with current info.

The only solution is a solid axle swap. These aren't worth putting a dime into. all these new euro trash vans are junk, sprinter included.
E-series van with swc4x4vans, ujointoffroad or sportsmobile 4wd conversions are the way to go.

Unfortunately that is not feasible the cost of a SAS would be 20k. Better to find a working solution for a mild 1 to 1/12 inch lift..IMOP.

Some truth, but mostly a sales pitch.
Ford Transits are poorly designed already, don’t lift them and make things worse.

I won't be able send my van from NYC and it done at Van compass. If I buy Van compass lift kit the lift upgrade would be properly done? or it's something else the mechanic has to work on separately?

Our kit is designed to be installed by the DIY type or mechanic. We provide detailed instructions with the kit and they are available on our website for reference.
