- Welcome to my Pre-awakening Striker guide! This guide focuses on combos, tips and tricks for PvP. I haven't spend too much time in this guide because after the release of Striker awakening most of this will become irrelevant.

I don't care..many ppl are hating on striker but I love the striker playstyle..I play with a controller, feels like am playing DMC. or ninja gaiden. .I've tried warrior and ninja..but they feel off to me..currently at level 55 one more to go.
There will always be people who won't agree with any patch, fix, buff or release. I'm mainly playing DK and the hate Striker is getting is nothing compared to the DK salt :D

Interesting. Some things I didn't know yet about Striker, which will help with both fighting as and against one. Curious why you only did duels with two classes though. I've only been able to test my wizard against my officer(whose Striker gear is on par or slightly better than mine). He's still learning/leveling the class but we noticed that the Striker, at least when we we're duelling, has a hard time getting through all the CC's the wizard awakening pumps out, however it does look like if you can get the grab, you can basically fuck them up. Strikers seem like can really hurt with pre-awakening.
Would like to see how they fare against the other classes that is. Fighting two classes 3 times each.. not exactly a big show of their potential. It was interesting none the less though. I've already been thinking of gearing my Striker as a secondary main, I have the boss weapons, I have most of the armor needed; this is just making me want to do it more. xD
The Striker is interesting indeed and has alot of potential. I'm still eagerly waiting for the awakening so i can witness their true potential. As for the duels, i haven't really been able to get the full experience because of my low AP on my Striker and the lack of time.
That being said, when awakening hits EU/NA i'll probably do another guide in much more detail.
I've tried the awakening out.. they get two more dashes, which on top of the already 3 dashes is crazy(dash,space,dash,punch,space,dash with 20 shards), then they have a skill like sorc's violation, another grapple(chain grapples maybe?), and the side kick can swap weapons. That's about all I know from the like.. 20 mins of the awakening I played.
All that cc, and they get the damage increase for it being awakening too. Definitely gonna make its gear better. :D
i thought getting that grab move and the blast move may of been a waste, guess not.

I rebind the free camera key (normally middle mouse button) to something more accessable, rotate the camera to the front and just used my ablilities. it took me a few takes to actually jump over the chair tho :). For some reason i like starting my videos off with some visuals just to get people hooked i guess. I did something simular with my DK guide.

I've notice that during the grabs you can: Follow that up with 2 RMB RMB Then into Q - RMB RMB RMB - into LMB + RMB - which heals you for 300 hps once maxed out. So far it's a great combo imo. What do you guys think about it?

I'm only showing 4 grapple combos in the combo part of the video but there are WAY more, there are some different ones that i use in the duel part of the video.
The best lifesteal combo i've found so far is on 3:25 where i go from Crimson Fang into Flow: Deathstrike into Fist Fury cancel (the float hit + finishing blow hit = 6 hits with 40hp/hit on max lvl) into Roaring Tiger (300hp on max lvl).
Why do some people say that Striker is weak? Is he really that bad? I created one and he is so fun to play so far.
Striker isn't bad at all, you just need to know what you are doing.
Will you do a awakening build too? and can you tell me the normal and then awekening skill add-ons? great video :)
I will make an awakening guide when it releases in EU/NA.
My add-ons are: Knee Hammer 10pvp and 45 pain dmg - Twisted Collision 20pve or +3% acc and 50 bleed - Rage Hammer 15DP and +4% evasion.

Yeah i will, right now i'm still learning the class and grinding up to lvl 58.
Sorry, but why max out grab? No benefits are listed in the skills screen that suggest that the knock down is any longer or cooldown any shorter, or anything that would extend your window to combo. All I can tell is that you hold them for longer to punch 3 times. Sorry, this is just something I feel needs more explaining for me to understand and invest points into.
With grab on max rank you win yourself 1-2seconds of CC just because you hold them longer and hit them 3 times. With grab on lvl 1 you will do a single punch and let them loose alot faster which will result in your grapple still on cooldown after doing a grapple combo.
So the grapple cooldown starts when you grab them, and not after its complete?

All the floating stuff is fixed now during the bound effects right? So wouldn't that make all these combos false? Whats a new perma stun combo now if there is any?
It's not "fix", ninja can do the same thing with his awakening grab. I haven't played on my Striker for a while now but i think they added that in with last patch. It's the changes that KR got after Striker awakening, like the clone that pops up with SPACE now. I have no idea why we got these changes now but i suppose Striker awakening will release this or next week so we would have gotten those changes anyways. It does kinda screw with the class when we don't have the awakening yet.

could u tell me the best gear for the striker ? what do I need to buy to '' get good'' im still level 40 but I should hit 50 tomorrow and I dont Know much about the gear... nice video btw :)
There are some gear suggestions in the description of the video but since you're low level i'm guessing you only started recently. I'm working on a gear progression video but for now you should try to aim for that low budget build.

Tomatsu hmm, I just bought myself a full grunil set with a liverto weapon +8. Was that wrong? im not sure how to continue im level 45 at the moment, will be 50 later.
You should save that Liverto for later because it's too expensive for new players to upgrade and it will slow you down. I recommend buying a cheap +15/PRI/DUO Rosar or Yuria weapon so you can grind faster and invest in accessories and armor alot sooner.

Some are still viable, just keep the 2 CC limit in mind

hi how do u lock ur evasion skill?
0:34 press K to open your skilltree and on the top right there will be a skill called Evasion. If you hover your mouse over the skill you will see a "lock" appear, just press that so it turns red and it should be locked!

They match best to the playstyle shown in the video, so depending on your playstyle the build will differ to whatever you prefer.

I was planning on making a really detailed striker awake guide but then i kinda lost interest in the class, i might make a basic Striker awakening guide tho.
Honestly I HATED the awakening of the class but I like it in the normal mod.
The devs really wasted this class with this awakening.

You need to have max rank, otherwise you wont be able to do proper grab chains.

Hey what kind of gear progression do you recommend?
I already have a gear progression video planned but because my exams are starting soon i wont have any time for it in the upcoming 2 weeks.
Depending on what gear you already have the cheapest AP/silver are DUO/TRI blue coral earrings, DUO/TRI blue coral rings, DUO/TRI shultz belt and necklace, rosar/yuria/liverto/kzarka mainhand depending on your budget you have and then AP offhand or eva+acc offhand if you have it available for your class (saiyer) and a blue ultimate awakening. for DP propably full DUO/TRI grunil or heve when combining with boss pieces.
