Natalie, you touched on a very interesting point for me. I noticed that in Italian you said "cameriera" (feminine noun), but in English you translated that as “waiter” (which should be a masculine noun, right?). A line from a Human League song immediately came to my mind, "Don't you want me": "I was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar". So in English as well there is (or did exist?) the feminine form of this noun. In Italian now it's a big mess with the alleged sexism of grammatical genders. Is it the same in English?
🎵🎵 I am in the room waiting for Santa and for Claus. Suddenly by night they will arrive, can't you feel the typical: "Cling, cling, cling, cling, cling!". Don't throw atomic bombs, because it's Christmas time! Panettone is on the table, and everybody's drinking Moscato. Christmas with the yours, Easter what you want. Peace between Lino e Cecchetto! Christmas with the yours, Easter what you want, don't drop atomic bombs at least at Christmas time! Oh, it's Christmas time, please don't drop the bomb, don't drop it! Proprio come diceva mia mamma. sai cosa diceva mia mamma? Christmas with the yours, Easter what you want, peace between Lino e Cecchetto! Christmas with the yours, Easter what you want, livin' the refreshing world of Christmas. @ purtroppo non sono io che ho avuto l’ispirazione di scrivere questa bella e ironica canzone in inglese (volutamente) un po’ sgrammaticato. Era una citazione di Elio e le storie tese. Le auguro un bellissimo Natale e complimenti ancora per il metodo leggero ed efficace allo stesso tempo.

Yes we have both, waiter = male and waitress = feminine

yes, Christmas is a magical time. A moment to share with your loved ones (if possible) if not to appreciate what we have.
