Arthur's death is really sad while John's death is really shocking.
Johns death is also sad
one is slow death
and one is sudden death
Edgar Ross was too much of a coward to fight John by himself. So he bought an army with him to protect his own skin.
Nah he knew he couldn't take down john marston on his own. It takes a whole army to kill john.

One of the most striking and memorable missions ever! I remember when i played this mission for first time in 2010 I stayed dumbfounded with what happened to John 🔥
As someone who hasn't played the first game, this was the only mission I remembered vividly just mainly because of John's death but it was cool to watch every video of this playthrough, especially after playing RDR 2 and noticing the references to moments from that games like the bear, the train robbery, the gang leaving John to die, etc.

Jack chose revenge the same as his dad did. It won’t matter if you kill the 2 extra family members or not they’ll still eventually rule Jack as a Main suspect in Edger death (plus his family too if you kill them) . So.. rdr3 or we can call it Red Dead Revelations.

@@BeatleHarrison They’re gonna investigate this regardless. the best lead they have is an approximate height, weight, age, hair color, notable clothing, and horse color of an individual who asking about where to find Edgar in Blackwater. And if the wife and brother are still alive that helps since their descriptions of who spoke to them would be almost the exact same. So the police are gonna operate under the assumption that Edgers wife, his brother and other Agent likely all spoke too the same person. Since that’s the only real lead police have to go on they’re definitely gonna start looking around Blackwater area for anyone who fits close enough to that description considering the trail questions starts in Blackwater. Obviously, Breacher hope will be probably checked as well in the near future. Jack will be questioned he’ll lie act like he doesn’t know what happened or know anything about Edgar and his families sudden disappearance. The cops will mention that “we’ll be in touch” like cops usually do and then they’ll leave. Keep in mind Jack knows for a fact he actually did kill Edgar and he knows that he is the son of an outlaw so they have every reason to suspect it’s him. He also fits the description of who was asking about where to find edger. So Jack is definitely not gonna stick around and wait to see how this plays out. He’s gonna pack up and run later that evening or night as soon as he can. Then a day or a few days later when the police come back to check on him they will discover Jack isn’t home and they’ll likely assume he ran (especially if they have a few cops wait around the ranch for a day or so just to be certain) then when they’re fully confident he’s likely not coming back..…… rdr3.

My playthrough had this really weird glitch where after emerging from the barn, John just stood there without aiming his gun, even though the camera went into "aim mode". This went on for a while until Dead Eye kicked in. Did anyone else have this glitch?

But something nobody mentions is that it was nice of Ross to give John some time with his family at the end.
Fun fact the captain that helped you raid Dutch’s fortress betrays John as well. You can actually kill him in the battle where John dies.
He’s forced by Ross to do it so he’s not really betraying John
It’s just his character model that’s re used as you can see and kill him in several waves

Everyone talking about Johns death but no one asked how Abigail passed away.
Died of a broken heart. It actually happens. When married old couples lose one another. It usually doesn't take long for the other to pass on. (This happened to my Great Grandparents)
