    In this video, we look at how to thoroughly clean your Bambino Plus by backflushing with a cleaning tablet, descaling, as well as cleaning the steam wand tip and shower screen. Finally, we give it a nice wipe down to make it shine like new.

    Thank you so so much for this video. Bought my machine about 5 months ago and yesterday in the morning kitchen rush prepping for work, my machine decided to stop working. I was frustrated and not in a very decent mood. I normally get up earlier to make my wife and I, our morning start up fuel but that didn’t happened. So you can imagine how the morning went. Lol. Anyways, I did everything in your instructional video and WALA, I have a working machine again. Now, I have an understanding of how to maintain my machine so this disaster won’t happen again. Thanks again and I’m going to order the products so I won’t have to go through this nightmare again.

    „All you need is unscrew the shower screen“. And then you proceed to magically get it off the machine. Tried the same without luck and now my machine can’t get water through it. Seems like I broke it. Amazing tutorial, thank you so much!

    Tom love your videos. May I ask which is better in your opinion, Delonghi dedica or Sag bambino? It would be a great video idea to do a comparisation maybe. Keep up the good work.

    • @TomsCoffeeCorner
      @TomsCoffeeCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Enes! Thanks for your feedback. Well, I like them both a lot. The Bambino is better at steaming out of the box, and has a 3 way solenoid. But, it costs at least 2x the DeLonghi Dedica. I was thinking of doing a live comparison, if people might be interested...

    • @TomsCoffeeCorner
      @TomsCoffeeCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Enes, I wanted to go live today for a short video anyway, so here is the spontaneous comparison: th-cam.com/video/3JYlmCBlRCM/w-d-xo.html

      @@TomsCoffeeCorner Thank you for this video Tom, sorry I missed the live session. It looks like the bambino wand its in another league but I have actually installed, in my dedica, the rancilio silvia wand so I guess its a little bit better. But do you think the 9 bar pressure at the bambino makes a better extraction than the 11-12 bar from dedica? Also do you have a link for the distribution tool you used, ? I have bought 2 on amazon but they were a waste :/ Thank again.

      @@enesvekshari4395 Hi Enes, I get really good foam with the Dedica too. But the Bambino is more fun to use. Oh, and the Dedica actually has about 8-9 bar. It has 11 bar maximum, but with an in line manometer, I measured 8.5 bars. I did a video about it recently. Here's the WDT tool: WDT Tool: tidd.ly/3KIG541 (etsy)

      @@TomsCoffeeCorner Yeah I saw the videos you made to the dedica ( actually I have seen them all, since I live in Germany and you are the only one who makes videos in English), also when you tried different springs but didnt made the same difference as in Gaggia Classic. I will be looking forward to the incoming videos for the Sage Bambino. Thanks also for the etsy link. I am trying to do a DIY but if it doesnt work will buy that one.

    Just what I was looking for - what is the wand cleaner for, since you soaked the tip in the other descaling solution?

    • @TomsCoffeeCorner
      @TomsCoffeeCorner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is a cleaner specifically for getting that nasty milk crust off the steam wand tip.

    Hi. Normally how often you need to do the clean cycle and the descaling?

    • @TomsCoffeeCorner
      @TomsCoffeeCorner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on how hard your water is, but I would suggest every 2 months at least. Also, using a Brita filter helps to reduce scale. Cheers!

    Thanks for your informative video.
    Recently my machine started to keep alerting me to clean the machine, even after I do it!
    Is it a software issue or it is actually dirty?
    One more thing, I don’t use cleaning tablets, I use generic espresso machine cleaning powder, as the tablets are very expensive in my country and hard to get.
    Any tip?

    • @TomsCoffeeCorner
      @TomsCoffeeCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean to descale? The machine has no sensors to tell how dirty it is, only a water flow meter, to know how much water has been drawn. I would suggest descaling, and if you do not have descaling solution, then you can try some vinegar, but I would still suggest using what the manufacturer recommends, which is their descaling solution. Cheers!

      @@TomsCoffeeCorner thanks for the reply. No descaling process is fine. When I do the automatic cleaning process and it finishes and turn the machine back on and off, it says I need cleaning agian 🥹

      I did not understand what you meant because I don’t control how long the process takes, it does it automatically.

    Can I do backflushing anytime i want to do it? Or do i need to wait for the sensors in the breville to do a a backflush?

    • @TomsCoffeeCorner
      @TomsCoffeeCorner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can backflush when you want. Just slip the gray rubber disc in the PF, and press a shot. I think the machine will still prompt you to do it in regular intervals though.

      @@TomsCoffeeCorner Thank you very much sir. Gonna try it later cause I think the bambino plus that was given to my mom needs some cleaning as its been a while since its been used.
      Additionally I want to ask some question about the delonghi KG79 grinder. I've opened it 3 times today and adjusted its burr. Is it normal that the outer edge of the burr is kinda scratched. Its brand new and im kinda worried i break it. The setting I put to is close to limit. I back up at least three clicks before its limit. Thanks

    • @TomsCoffeeCorner
      @TomsCoffeeCorner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just make sure the burrs don't abut. That being said, there's much better options out there for grinders. So maybe return that one if you can, and get a better one. Just my thought on it.@@joeylauriaga2841
