I love this so much. Volbeat is the only band I've been listening to in my car for the past few weeks and this song is the only one where I was actually jealous that there was another female voice singing along with Michael. Problem solved! In the best way possible.
I’m not famous, yet I’ve been playing for almost 40 years and my main guitar is an SG. I do the same thing with the knobs live. Rapidly touching all of them multiple times back and forth back and forth, when only one turn is needed. Thought I was crazy glad it’s not just me!! Love this band!!

I saw that too lol that was him being uncertain his guitar was dialed in correctly so he threw all those bitches up to 10 and slammed the pickup selector to the bridge pickup.
I did just notice he does it before every chorus. So usually if you’re singing and not playing you mute your guitar to avoid unwanted feedback. So he must turn it down during the verse and every time he is preparing to sing and play his brain goes. “We better make sure all these knobs are at 10 and we’re on the bridge pickup!” That’s funny I’m gonna be looking for that ever time I watch their live videos now lol
