@@DarkheroJosh Im not saying that he was the mvp, i think that rin was the mvp in that game, i just wanted to say this because a lot of people dont remember that isagi was useful in most than one play too
If we're being honest, the MoM was Sae [it's possible to be the MoM despite your team losing]. He literally bossed everything on the pitch [created the most chances, most assists, scored, wont even mention key defensive actions]. Going by this logic, the BL player who did the most to nullify the threat that was Sae was, WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, Rin. Even if we were to say both Rin and Isagi were equally involved in all BL goals, Isagi wasn't even close in all other aspects of the field. Both Isagi and Ego admit that it was Rin who changed the match
The MVP without a doubt was Rin. Isagi saved the match and was vital in every goal scored and saved the match, but it was still Rin. Although on a side note, it must've taken quite a lot of skill to directly shoot a loose ball into the goal. Like some passes are hard enough but a loose ball? Damn. Just a realization I had. Also, another side note, I think Sae will have a superior Meta Vision to any New Gen. What I mean is isn't like a eye that surpasses Meta Vision, but is just more efficient at using it. Like for example with Aiku and Niko, it's still clear Isagi's superior to them even with Meta Vision. Same with Sae. He's a midfielder for a reason.
Yea I’m one of the biggest Isagi glazers in existence but Rin was MoM easy peezy. Most of Isagi’s big moments were because he reacted to Rin and most of the talk from Rin about refusing to be devoured just seemed like paranoia to me.
@@theecapta3414 He was involved in every play but most of his plays once he broke off from staying on Rin's heels ended up as duds except for blocking Shidou (Rin's blind spot) and the "lucky" shot. Ego made it very clear that Rin was what would lead BL to the win with his flow and Isagi only being put on the pitch because he put up the best results with him. Isagi called him the "lightning rod" on the field rn. Imagine being so good that U-20's wall saw a 0% chance of beating you and even a 2v1 only made it 50% as well as scoring with a non dominant foot trivela. I'm not doubting Isagis off the ball movements making it harder to defend against BL as a WHOLE but whenever Isagi would be passed the ball and would go for a score attempt he'd be locked up by Sae or Aiku. I mean hell even BAROU the biggest Isagi meat rider decided to trail Rin because Rin is just like (if not a better version of) Isagi to make that sliding super goal.
The fact that you claim people who think isagi was the MVP are delusional is ironically the most delusional thing I ever heard you. Of course the plays were tailored towards rin cuz he was the best player at the time that's not up for debate. What is tho isagi being the most valuable player he was a key part of all the ball movement he had rin saying he was the biggest reason even able to make that goal anyway according to both Rin and ego.
Sure a truly valid point. No sword is any good without its hilt however you must remember Rin was the blade. All the work Isagi did was only possible because Rin is a monster that demands attention. Had Aiku been on isagi the whole time not a peep would have been heard from him. However all that being said I completely this is very debatable but in my opinion I think it’s still run by a substantial enough margin
It's true rin was there and he won against he's brother and Gave the U20 a physical and mental beating but isagi was able to use he's Metavision subconsciously and reach a point where he can shoot a Direct Shot but in my opinion Rin was the MVP for this match
Even tho him and Rin both have High spatial awareness and Football IQ I say Rin was able to read the Field faster than Isagi in the First half of the match but right after Rin was trying to "Sync" he's vision with Sae I say he lost Focus and Isagi was in Control and was stopped Sae Pass to Shidou
I wanna hear people's opinion on something that I've been thinking for a while now and that is how the hell will the other countries stand a change against J U20 team cuz from what we've seen until now the U20 teams of other countries are so weak. The blue lock players have completely taken over the teams that they play for with the only players that can match or surpass them being Kaiser, Ness, Lorenzo and maybe Agi but other than that they are all completely trash, now just imagine what a team with all the best players in blue lock can do. Even if the other teams for countries that we still haven't seen have players like Kaiser or Lorenzo what can they actually do alone against a team full of monsters like the J U20.
Rin only awakened because of isagi ppl tend to look at the bigger things rather than the things leading up to that moment if you asked me who was involved more it’s definitely isagi the ball didn’t lie either because the one who ended up taking all the attention was isagi
I'd say Isagi wasn't the MVP, but he was the best player on the pitch in the last few moments, even surpassing Rin in the state of flow. That's why he was acknowledged by Itoshi Sae. Isagi was able to use meta vision at a wider scale than Rin (likely) did against his block on Shidou, when he got kicked in the head. As, Rin could only use that vision by stopping his brother, knowing how Sae thinks and plays. Isagi on the other hand, took in the situation of Sae and Rin (along with surrounding defenders and players), and went to a location he could score from, all in a moment's notice. I also believe that Sae's acknowledgement is due to Isagi's capabilities exceeding his own in certain aspects. That being vision (at the last moments of the game only, though), direct shots, and off the ball movement. Sae likely realizes that Isagi's vision, even if reflexively, was still his vision, which could be trained to an extent (which we see be meta vision later on). Direct shots are, in the words of Isagi, "something that gives no one time to catch up to the future I'm in." Which adds onto his meta vision capabilities and reflexive movement. Off the ball movements in general are just a good thing to have, and allow for him to work well both in a team, and for scoring his own goals. Now, Isagi was not the MVP of that match by any means, but I do believe he will be if a match like that ever happens again. Purely because the 3 main things I listed above will be trained to a higher extent. Rin is basically just a copy of Sae, whereas Isagi is a unique player we've never seen in the series. The only reason Rin could fully surpass Sae was due to his flow state, where he stopped copying Sae, and rather, did the opposite. From destroying beautifully, to destroying disgustingly. It's totally possible that Rin learns the state he was in (as hinted at the start of the NEL arc). But, in terms of regular play, Isagi likely will be the better player in the long run. Not to mention off the ball movements by Isagi playing a big part in the goals of the team. Such as Rin's trivela. *To sum it up:* MVP is Rin, but the next one will definitely be Isagi.
