Thomas, I was only 4 when I first heard this song sung by the Original guy. He had such a nice voice and I loved the song from day one. It is still very popular. He was so young when he passed away in 1985. 44 years old is too young. Thanks for the memories. Loved it.

And over the years I tried to find out the title of the original. I searched for "It´s all because of you" but never found something fitting. And by searching with the lyrics I found the version of A taste of honey. And there was somehow mentioned the original "Sukiyaki" and so I found the original and it´s singer. And when I learned from Wikipedia the sad story about his death by a plane crash I was so touched 😢. But anyway, I love the original by Kyu Sakamoto; it´s overwhelming 🥰💞.
