Horror in the woods is always a 3 skull mission for me. Webbies are ruthless in that setup

Forgot to mention: you can field up to 8 mechs per mission. To bring more than 4, use the "scroll wheel" on the interface where you put the mechs/pilots into their mission slots. Also, when you figure out what weapons work well against what enemies, you can specialize your mechs a bit, and then in the same mission interface select sprecific preferred targets for your mechs.

I see you are not avoiding the HOLO mech, like most other people do. Good, because the others are missing out :) People tend to think it is inferior, because it has only 2 AUX slots. But it has such good base stats for combat that no matter what you put into the 6 AUX slots of the other mechs, you can never reach the stats of the HOLO, for example the -50% reload time that it comes with. Same goes for the TENTACLE, which is even crazier (you can make it <1 second reload). Anyway, enjoy this little gem of a game <3 And if you ever wonder what a mech chassis is good at, feel free to check out the steam guide I wrote :)

I was bummed to find out the ps5 doesn’t get the expansions. I wanted to play as an assassin or dreadnought.

I think the legends mod lets you camp while you are doing a caravan mission.

Well colour me suprised. I had assumed a legion of goblins and orcs were going to ruin your lunch. So to speak. A better outcome than I thought. Webnechts.......... just dont like em . Hoped the miasma bug spray would work.

The turn-limit missions were the worst part of X-Com 2 for me, and this whole game is predicated around that concept. I really wanted to like it and gave ir a chance though and bought this anyway, but just couldnt get past it. It disincentivize any tactics like setting up ambushes and flanking in favor of just bee-line charging the objective

This episode is a warning. No way can it go so smoothly. Level ups all around,easy cash and so on. Be very careful next episode.

I'm expecting next episode is gonna be the hunt for uncut gems with all that easy money you got.

Hope the game will pull what Front Mission did with PoV from two side: The local fighting for liberty, and Daycare just trying to survive. I'll be disappointed if we just play as the Daycare team.

For fighting schrats, would you have been better off giving the ranged units a polearm and attacking from tiles that weren't in straight lines to avoid Uproot? Even if they don't have the best chances of hitting, they won't have ammo concerns and it's more attacks than they would've had otherwise.

I am really excited for this to come out, been a long time fan of Front Mission.. I actually really liked that you dug into the graphics setting a little to show off how they gave options to make the game look like an old school PS1 era game.

Regarding reactors, - Internal and external resistance are mutually exclusive, it will cancel out each other. You can only go for either one but not both. - For ICE engines, you may want to try pairing the silver injector with a bluish piston (lower pressure and higher max pressure), or red injector with a yellowish piston (higher pressure, lower max pressure), then notice the difference - Try experimenting with different combos and discover different interesting results - Same goes for the fission nuclear reactor, there are 3 different types of kernel rods: red, grey, light blue (grey & light blue colors are quite similar)

It was a blast to play on multiple difficulties. Have fun any play what excites you!

i wana add a tip though... because i dont really bother too much with thinking of names and writing down notes... when i name a mech i name it by its core and phoneticly eg. hot alpha... generally alpha is my captains rig so i never need to remember its load out and hot(external resistances)/cold(internal resistances) so i never have to check over its core stats or make changes costing precious engineers.

not cringe at all! honestly would be cool if there was a "narrated" series or something like that, cut some scenes together and make it dramatic lol

What mods are you using

caves are so fricking dangerious bro... i got close to end game cleared 2-3 of the beacons and was near maxed out on tech hadnt geared up but hadnt yet succefully tackled a cave either... reckon youd need a bunch of the repair drones and some pretty experienced crew along with some massive range...

Which Company of Heroes do you play the most out of between 1, 2, and 3? 1 pretty set a pretty high bar for every other RTS that came after it, but I feel 2 and 3 have some interesting aspects.

fun info if you havent discovered it yet... building... legs or torso of the base dictate max level of floor above... then after that the building below the top floor of upgrade work the same as the legs gota upgrade each... when i start a game i rush for all the buildings that give resources and staff then tech followed by the few buildings that help with lowering the loss of stats of the base. btw dude bravo on noticing the drag to set path took me awhile to figure it out by chance haha... i always start in australia... p.s. its a death sentance to start near NZ haha...

artillary = level of building that produces them + time passed... i think it produces 1 per day but you start with 5... u can upgrade it though... theres a few guides online that recommend best building to upgrade to start...

tip... and your welcome... but you dont need to pick up resources for the end result of getting them... you get any green drops on the calculation page regardless... sweat not brother its not that punishing...
