      Hey buddy since your car is a diesel ! You don’t have to really worry about exhaust sounds ! Diesel cars have very less exhaust sounds as compared to petrols ! These exhausts are only effective in petrol vehicles! Yes you can still get one for your car and yeah when the value is closed your exhaust sound will be almost similar to your stock car and might have a very slight rumble but not that much as a petrol !

I was thinking of putting the stock muffler back on the passangers side and then a cutout which diverts to the drivers side where the flow master exits. therefore you could close the cutout and it would be stock, open it and it would divert to the flow master. Two separate exhaust systems. what do you think? pls help me out!

    • @rahulnairvlogs
      @rahulnairvlogs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey buddy thanks for the feedback, Diesel cars have very low exhaust sounds , so there wouldn’t be any point in getting a valvetronic exhaust for your car , It wouldn’t lag performance you will have increased performance due to free flow of the exhaust and less back pressure but at the cost of mileage, since your initial RPM goes higher than usual due to free flow . Hope this clears your doubt , thank you

      Hey buddy, there are a lot of options to choose from based on your budget , I suppose your vehicle has a 3.OL turbo if I am not wrong , talking about the exhaust , if you have a lower budget it’s always nice to get a custom exhaust done at a local exhaust shop , if you have a higher budget I recommend the REMUS axel back system which comes with integrated valves , these are state of the art and also come with a mobile app so you can control the valves from your phone , but it is quite expensive! • @rahulnairvlogs
      @rahulnairvlogs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey buddy ! You have a wide range of options but the first thing you need to know about valvetronic exhausts available in India is that all are fake ! I mean it’s not that they are of bad quality but they are not actually Remus of magna flo or whatever they are just made in China but made with quality! So for your civic , it again comes down to budget , if you are tight on budget you can get just a valvetronic cutout , it will cost around 10k and just get some exhaust tips for looks , if you have a good budget of around 20-30 k , you can go for a valvetronic muffler , Maybe the Remus one with a vacuum pump and dual tips , also when installing it make sure you delete your resonator, it will sound much better ! Magna flow is also fine but will be a bit more expensive , like I said all these are similar and are not original but are made with similar quality in China, they just have different badging!

    • @yikesomg3423
      @yikesomg3423 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not an expert but, Internal Combustion Engines work by burning Air and Fuel. The more air it can burn, the better the performance. A closed valve or a more restrictive exhaust system might lessen the air intake hence, reduce performance. This might be the reason why a aftermarket performance exhaust kit adds a few horsepower to a car.

      @rahulnairvlogs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey buddy, wonderful car over there , having a zen is always on my wishlist, since it’s a pretty old engine , you wouldn’t actually have a big milage drop , maybe around 0.5-1km drop maybe there , newer engines run on computer codes and hence change in air flow and back pressure cause the computers to get messed up and results in milage drop ! Also you can straight pipe your car and give a valvetronic muffler at the end , that would also give you a slight performance boost! Thank you! Hey buddy , Since your car is a natural aspirated engine , you cannot have pops and bangs , pops and bangs are possible only in a turbo charged car . If you are looking for a good exhaust and good performance , you can go for a SS straight pipe with a valvetronic muffler , you will have a good boost in initial pickup and can also control the exhaust sounds. Yes you will have around 1-2km loss in mileage because the initial RPM of your cars jumps too high due to the free flow of exhaust gases and low back pressure, hope this clears your doubts

      Hey buddy , since it’s a petrol engine , any valvetronic exhaust would work fine .
      Also totally based on your budget . If you have a budget of around 10-12k , you can get just a cutout , if you have a higher budget I recommend a valvetronic exhaust from Remus or magna Flo , they aren’t actually original, but those are sold with Remus and magna flo branding in India and are of good quality, they will cost around 20-25k .
