This one player TMNT Countercade makes absolutely NO sense!!!! 1 player DESTROYS the fun, anyone who has played the game, like I have in the Arcades know that you NEED more than 1 player to make for a fun game. It will be understandable if it were a Tiny Arcade where it would be too difficult for more than 1 player. Also price wise the 1 player is NOT that much cheaper than the 2 player one. The two player version also looks like the actual arcade, this version just looks like a toy version. If you really need to save money just buy the Tiny Arcade TMNT keychain game. This one player unit is just a money grab by Arcade 1Up, I pass!

Honestly, if they made 1P countercades for fighting games with online connectivity (wifi or Ethernet), I’d be all over it - especially an MVC2 one. Bonus points if they allowed for some type of serial cable/connection to play 2P against a second local countercade.

Retro Ralph is such a shill! After I saw it was waterproof, I couldn’t control myself. I bought four of these countercades to play as all turtles! Hoping for a Turtles in time reskin to possibly upgrade. Depends on the coin door 🤞🏻

I considered getting one of these table top Arcade 1 up machines. In the end got a bunch of arcade games for Switch and an arcade stick for said system. Great review!

Dedication to the Arcade community, rain or shine that’s Retro Ralph! I was in northern peoria Arizona earlier today and it was pouring. I’m talking calm skies, close the door for 5 minutes, open it and it’s rainy cats/dogs.
