Chris used Gretsch on this song!!!
Ben also sings back up on some
Matt Cameron‘s drumming is phenomenal 👌🏽
Hell yeah 🤘
Cornell, my man!!! One of the BEST voices I have ever heard. Hits me hard every time.
13:18 Kim Thayil is one of the coolest guitar players I can think of
13:21 one of my favorite solos
19:04 WOW Chris Cornell's voice is amazing
EXCELLENT SOUND DRUM, GUITARS, BASS AND SINGER VOICE, etc.👍😎😎👍
17:55 I love that harmony part in the vocals! Beautiful
Love to hear the reference guitars leaked on the bass track.
I thought Ben was making mistakes at the end but nope, he was hitting it every other time. Very cool...
What a hell of a song. I'd say the best rock/ metal song of all time.
Great work thank you. One of the greatest voices in rock RIP.
chris cornell is such a good vocalist rip chris cornell
Thanks a million, DLD2. Now I can finally try and figure out what the guitar is playing because it is no longer buried in the mix.
Something told me to look for this song and listen to it for the first time earlier today, and a couple of hours later you upload this 😮
I admire you because you took a trend to have more subscribers and then make the content that you really like
Beautiful.
Excellent!!
Wow Cornell one of the best voices out there😯
Solid gold
I didn't know Chris Cornell had a 1960 'Burst!
What a cool channel! I’ve been looking for videos like these. Subbed!
17:25 Chris Cornell
La máscara...
Can you do all i Need from radiohead? :’0
Yo, man. If you don’t mind answering, what software do you use to “isolate” these tracks? But as I said, I don’t expect you to divulge the software since “a magician never reveals his secrets.” :P
in this case use the rb video game tracks and with the audio remaster use riff station and audacity
@@DLD2Music Thank you very much! Really appreciate your help.

That sounds more like a jazz bass
Even if most sources marks Chris' voice as "baritone", he was actually a spinto tenor, that's why he had the ability to sing that high but at the same time he had the ability to sing in an almost "baritone" way without actually doing it.
Wasn't cobain similar?
@@ravager2006 Kurt was a dramatic tenor, he had just a slightly lower voice than Chris, but still, as he didn't had the technique, he couldn't do everything that Chris did.
I agree with him being a tenor, but I think his low non-singing voice was just due to vocal damage though, judging by how 'undeveloped' his lower voice sounded while speaking in the late 80s.
@@motorologist Yep, I agree with you.
@@GuajoloteGonzales Ah so the voice types you mention can take into account things like that, good to know.
Kim is using distortion and Chris is using some chorus sounding (Giving that Nirvana come as you are sound)
I think Chris played a Gretsch
i dont think so
he played a Gretsch solid body in the music video but im not sure if he played one in the studio version
@@blakebrickermusic Chris played his Gretsch silver jet sparkle on this track, As stated by Michael bienhorn. The producer for superunknown
@@anything2780 cool i didn’t know he had a silver one I’ve seen him with a orange sparkle (in the music video) and a black Gretsch solid body in the music video for hunger strike
That's correct. The intro and verse arpeggios are all played on a Gretsch Silver Jet.
lemme get those stems fam
No one sings like you anymore.
That bass playing is just… eh
Seemed to be slightly out of time for some of the notes that aren’t whole notes and the he’s sorta buzzing a lot.
You just don’t understand production and engineering.
How can you know if something is out of time from an isolated track? This was before the days of click tracks. Tempos fluctuated. What's important is the relationship to the kick drum. Also, you've clearly never heard isolated bass before. It always sounds buzzy and kind of bad. This is actually one of the cleanest sounding bass tracks I've heard. Listen to Krist Novoselic's isolated tracks, or Paul McCartney's, or Robert DeLeo's.
