Ajax is basically a void titan from Destiny 2, I'm down for that.

Ajax is the character I played with in the beta just for that reason, and I'm used to playing tank roles in most games like that.

I know you said this is your "Worst descendant video", but I really like this format and how straight to the point it is with the overview of heroes/units. I know you can make a breakdown vid sure, but these are super nice as well.

I love ajax and freyna. I thought she was spongey in beta until i understood how to use her armor properly
YES. with mods you can give her armor to allies. I made a more in-depth tutorial on her but i should have waited to release it till closer to the release.
In the Beta I played as Freyna and I love it , I'll definitely farm to get her again, and Lepic as my two mains
Freyna is sick. When you build into the grenade though it gets so crazy haha. It's like plying halo with infinit grenades

Thats so funny. A few hours ago i released the first half of the descendants and it has all there mods. its individual though the video would be over an hour if i had made them all in one video. Gley is in the playlist.
Played Ajax last beta and I just cruised through the story mission and even made it to the pyromaniac. Also I remember picking up Gley due to the fact she can just shred bosses in just seconds.
I really hope they have a very hard version of the game later. It's boring if it's too easy

Played one of the betas, i dont remember the name but i used the one doctor looking vampire esc girl, was pretty fun till i had to solo a mission where i couldnt kill the enemies at the end quickly, using this video as reference for release, so thanks
Sick. Apparently we get way more caliber than anticipated. Enough for either the whole season pass, and all the descendants or all the descendants and a ton of skins. There is a mod that increases damage the lower your health for gley. If you get it you can solo all the bosses with her
@ryechew sweet, I really liked her playstyle so I'll be looking forward to that, the season pass does have me worried (don't know nothing about it) just hope it's purely cosmetic or any gear is earnable through play
@@XBossLuffyX All gear is earnable through play. Ive looked through it. You can go through the game getting materials for everyone and if you want buy the characters. It looks like there is no Pay to win and its going to be very similar to fortnites season pass if it was on warframe. The ultimate's look expensive but the game will give you about 6 descendant for around 15 - 20 hours of work. Bunny is about 2 hours of work so dont buy her.
I hope they buffed Viesa significantly, she was fun but pretty weak in the last beta. Bunny was OPAF
It felt like all the DOT effects were increased substantially. the ice road on Viessa was very trong. Bunny is good till you get later in Defenses then she just doesnt dish out enough damage to keep stacks and kill adds.
You start sticking to enemies and dying.
the main thing i disliked about viessa were her voice lines specifically for reloading.
In the beta, something was screaming inside me to play as Gley as her kit was super interesting to me. She ended up being my favorite out of all the others! She's fun and the two effects in one skill is just super cool as well!
She does mad work. I haven't seen anyone dps like her. Shares cracked with a sniper though

@Chaos1091 you have to switch to a heavy weapon, activate frenzy, activate her ult then you get 10 seconds of machine gun fire rate heavy weapon with a unlimited ammo and a 70% dmg boost

not gonna lie, i was a bunny main in the first tech test, as i LOVE hyper mobile characters in any game. but i started to work my way to unlocking freyna and i was one part away from grabbing her when the test ended.

@silverkitsune5164 no, during the test If you went to the Mailbox they gave you enough shards for all descendants and the season pass. Which came after this video
I want to play style what ever is most upclose and personal. The most damage with the least amount of shots or what ever is used. Then shape the character with a quick get away distance ability or skill,, when damage is overwhelming. I hope is has more scope and variety than Helldivers 2. People are saying that this company is know for FTP then charging insane PTW pricing.
They have games that are are a PTW but they also have not. It will be a clone of Warframes pay structure almost. But with a battle pass.
And hilariously enough BUNNY might be the descendant for you. Wich the game gives you like 2 or 3 hours in

During the Crossplay beta I really wanted a mod that made my healing orbs avaliable to allies.

Played Gley in the console beta, I'm sticking with her in the full release. Thankfully, it won't clash with Dawntrail's release (I'll be playing early access on June 28th) so I'll be available for the First Descendant at launch

The point of a video game is to entertain you. If seeing melanated individuals or gay people ruins your experience that's on you dawg. Doesn't affect gameplay at all. I also doubt developers were trying not to be an agenda-pushing BS Western game. They made a game they thought was fun. It's telling that people only complain when they see diversity in a game and rarely vice versa.

during final tech test i played ultimate viessa which was fun, but there is no diff from normal viessa

also jaybers turrets damage is directly related to the gun you're holding when it is summoned. shotguns seemed to be the biggest increase in damage. launchers did nothing. probably due to it being explosive damage.

@@ryechew gleys Nosferatu still changes depending on what type of weapon she's holding before but I don't think they take weapon power

Bunny's great for players that love a hit and run play style, especially with her blink ability. AJAX is a veritable humanoid tank so that's pretty self explanatory, Lepic was my choice for the beta and despite how basic the narrator of this video made him sound, that's basically all you need. Also I lost count of how often Close Call saved my ass. And...his design is just cool for your standard soldier class.

Ultimately, it will come down to "scantily clad woman #1 or scantily clad woman #2?" Unless there is a scantily clad woman #3... there is no 3rd option. The male characters do not exist. Which is unfortunate, because I usually love turrets...
Agreed. In Scantily clad #1(Viessa) there is a secretary skin that is going to be more popular then the maid one.

Who is the marksman class?
Depending on how you build them a lot of descendants have mods that change them to bea marksman class. The most notable Would probably be
Sharen do to her ambush capablity. which goes invisibility and increases dps of the next attack. She is typically an assassin.
Lepic is your standard soldier class where he gets a mod that increases weapon attack when activating overclock. instead of its normal skill function
Jayber is A turret maker that gets bonus to weapon attacks when both turrets are out
Gleys abilities all revolve around making her guns do more damage

Oh technically Kyle can be support but his healing gives out shields. So useless for gley. But still exists. And Ajax would be better for that sort of thing.
Yujin is 100% a healer. He's not included in this video for some reason, but he's in all of the trailers. Same with Luna, Enzo, Esiemo, and a couple others.

There are healers but they are labeled that way. Like Jayber is a healer you just need to build him to be one. No one comes as one really.

I don't care about meta and high damage numbers, my main enjoyment in a game is to boost and help out my teammates perform better then they could without me being around. It's nice to feel wanted and needed... and it would be nice if games would acknowledge this concept more often.

Most games don't have a skill based on a weapon your holding. It's typically based off skill at or some sort of weapon score. I can't think of a game that you need to switch from your primary to you secondary to activate a skill for more damage.
@ryechew Destiny, Phantasy Star has similar buffs with different level weapons, mmorpgs typically have features on weapons depending on activation time of the either a passive ability or main buff, typically no longer than 10-30 seconds after switching. If it's an instant buff then(needs a nurf) or if you keep the buff until effects wear off even when switching weapons once it's proct(might need a nurf)
@ryechew also I hope the game will feature armor and weapon sets with set bonus stats, I miss that in mmorpg's

you should probably tell people that you only get to choose from 3 at the start and have to grind out the one you want to play for hours, days or months.....
The game will give you bunny. And a free character as well. Thats definitely something people should consider is they might have to grind a lot for Ajax or Lepic. Thanks!!

They have changed since this video. But Laundry is clean up despite what it says on the website. Blair was a chef so he made stoves. I had assumed Valby was a house wife due to laundry but no luck lol

This video is kinda stupid because you'll need to level up all the characters to increase your mastery level, which unlocks additional benefits.
One: this was just so you could pick who you wanted was only intended as a intro guide.
Two: the additional benefits aren't special. It just lowers mana cost, cooldowns and increases some of the stats like damage.
It's not like your ability transforms at max level. At least not yet anyway
they heavily nerf my lovely sharen... she's great in any defense modes in the 1st test, strong and needn't run around like bunny, weak pc hate bunny thunder effect zzzz... at that time she had a module "have a chance reset longest cd skill on kill" , so if u r lucky then u can spam ultimate, 2nd test they removed that module zzzz, and now she even can't use camouflage again after kill enemies.... so i dun pick her this time, using gley spamming launcher, .. valby, bunny everywhere... they're op at early waves but i see most of them hard to survive at late waves.. too boring 😐
Yes. This is not indicative of the game though. They didn't nerf sharen. It's just last time they had all the modules. This time only around 100 so you couldn't make end game builds. When the game comes out it will be more like last year, don't worry
@@ryechew ohh.. but i remember last year her E skill - camouflage will available to use again instantly after killing with Q skill, but now i dun see it in skill description, so.. she can't use the "stealth - slash - stealth again" strategy anymore?? 🤔
@@trucdiepphan3091 so when ever you kill an enemy with a skill it resets the invis. So i dont think the effect went away.

Tested the game on last beta and Blair is god awful. Literally the worst of them all.
This game copied Warframe, but it doesn't want the characters to do what you can in Warframe. Which is kill everything with only abilities, if you want to.
Blair does so little damage with abilities, and you can't keep using it non stop, like in Warframe, cause there's no mana resource drops from enemies.
I also wanted to play with Kyle, but his ultimate is the worst of the game. If you are in closed quarters, when he ascend you hit the ceiling and it doesn't hit anything.
You can do what you want with kile. You just have to cycle his flame stoves. The uptime on abilities is about 75%
Why do all these characters skills seem extremely boring
what would make them exciting?
@@ryechew maybe better skills. One character has a grenade for a skill then another grenage for another skill. Another character has poison bullets for a skill then for the “Ultimate” she has a poison gun. That’s pretty unoriginal.

No. Its gonna be kinda like warframe. Lots of grinding for descendants. But it wont be pay to win. Youll be able to get everything.
