When I had this game as a kid it had a weird bug where I couldn't ever save, always got an error message when I tried and couldn't figure it out, so I always tried to beat the whole thing in one sitting and it was awful.

People who never played this game might think Jerma missed something huge or made a lot of mistakes in Set to Kill No, the mission is just that hard. In TAS speedruns without crashing at all they usually only have around 5 seconds to spare.
@Jimmy De'Souza No mention of the guy being drunk. He totally had 100% concentration and was even logical enough to take some shortcuts so it wasn't suboptimal most of the time. I'd consider it the 2nd hardest mission, the hardest definitely is the last mission bringing the toxic waste to the mothership w/ Grandpa's WW2 jeep that had horrible handling.
That "destroy the free laser stands" mission is where my 8 year old play through of this game finished. I remember my parents making me stop because I was getting so upset with the mission. I think I went back to it only a few years ago, at age 20/21 and I still couldn't do it. Fuck that mission.
