Lawrence Welk - Tahoe Highlights - November 4, 1972 - Season 18, Episode 9 - PBS

Thanks to "Lupton2000" for supplying the PBS air date -- November 28, 1987. Lawrence Welk refers to this program as "Famous Band Leaders". I used to record Lawrence Welk every week during the late 70's and 80's. I converted my VHS tapes to DVD's about twenty years ago.

Thank you so much for sharing these! Wanted to ask if you might have season 20 episode 11 from 1974? its called "Escondido Show" and was filmed at Mr. Welk's resort village. It aired on PBS, but I only recall seeing it once.

I checked back over my list and I do NOT have that program. Just a note -- I posted a quite a few shows a few years ago because my mother had dementia, but seemed to still be able to follow Lawrence Welk. I had converted the VHS tapes years ago. I didn't post any of the PBS shows because I thought they were readily available. But then I noticed there is a difference in the older Lawrence Welk PBS programs and the newer Lawrence Welk PBS programs. I am now going through these converted DVDs and seeing if I find anything that hasn't been posted.

Nice man, i had a friend whos parents knew him.. i was just finishing high school in '75, and got the male lead in a musical ..they brought back a program from his show, that he signed congratulating me on getting the part, still have it
