How about handicap access ? Is parking free for permit holders ? Can people with disabilities access the water without having to walk far. ? How about those with wheelchairs or scooters. ?
There is a lot of handicap spots. The walk paths are pretty wide and packed down I think a wheel chair may work. It is a further walk to North Beach. A good option if distance is hard would be Anastasia Beach in Saint Augustine. Now Fort DeSoto has several other beaches and I am not sure if those are closer to parking lots. We plan and doing a whole series on Fort DeSoto because there is so much there to see and do.
You guys were out pretty far. That is nuts that you can still stand that far out. Looks like a great beach to go to.
We were! It is amazing how far out you can go and still be standing up.

It is such a great beach. We didn't look for any we were just enjoying floating in the water😊
@@Adventureswithbecky Sadly the Jersey shore doesn't have any shark teeth. I beach comb anyway and then grab my boogie board...lol!

We just found some really cool shells this week at Saint Augustine. I want to hit up some beaches with sea glass!
Can you bring a beach tent?
