ഇത്രയും കാലം പഴക്കമുളള ആ ഡാം 136ൽ നിന്നും കോടതിയിൽ ബഹളം വെച്ച് സമയം ചിലവാക്കി 104 ആക്കി അവിടെ നിലനിർത്തണമെന്ന് ഇങ്ങേർക്കെന്താ ഇത്ര നിർബന്ധം. എന്തോന്നെടോ ഇതൊക്കെ. നാടിന്റെ ശാപം, ഇത്തരം പുഴുക്കുത്തുകളാണ്. മറ്റുളളവർ ഒരു നല്ലഭിപ്രായത്തോടും യോജിക്കില്ല, പകരം സ്വയം ബുദ്ധിജീവിയായി മറ്റൊരഭിപ്രായം തളളിക്കളിക്കും, അപമാനം ഇവനൊക്കെ.

At this juncture don't give any short term or temporary solution for the mullaperiyar dam. This is already a 150 year old and needs to be decommissioned. Lives of Kerala people are important than the water requirements of tamil nadu. These environmental experts did not warn about the wayanad disaster.

High Impulsive Water Waves (both radial & transverse wave propagates and damage & trigger opposite hill for another landslides) will be finally Overtopped at Dam Gate/Spillway with tens of millions of cubic meter of water by collapsing the Dam due to huge Mass of landslide sediments fell into the dam reservoir from any side of weaker Steeper Slope & Densely Vegetated hill or terrain (more probability for combined effect of accumulation & Dip Nose Landslide) when a cloud burst occurred (during the month of July, August & September) when it coupled with other triggering factors like with heavy rainfall intensity of more than 100 mm/h, excessive moisture content, low infiltration rate, reservoir water level sudden variation (WL rise more than 1m/d) & Heavy Intensive Rain Water Precipitation.
Remember Reservoir Water Level induced Landslides during heavy rainfall storms can generate much higher waves [30-524m height which depends on Water Depth (Shallow or Deep) of landslide Mass receiving location in the Reservoir, Location of Landslide-Completely Submerged, Partially Submerged & Subaerial snd slide Impact angle & velocity]than any tsunami waves created by earthquake and decay very faster at its Impacting zone.

It is strange that
T Nadu puts all responsibility on Kerala only to keep the risky dam for ever and to maintain the water storage at dangerous levels always, without enhancing their storage capacity.
This is not an ideal approach by T Nadu government for they remain without any concern on the life of millions of people in Kerala.
Hope , a feasible consensus will be reached between the state governments , under the goodwill of Govt.of India and Supreme Court.
T Nadu should also realise that nearly 5 districts there will be converted to a desert for ever , if some untoward incident happens to Mullapperiar dam.
