I like the idea of optional romances ... it leaves Max open to being single or having a partner ... and, if Chloe is dead or the player seen her as more of a best friend, the option to date someone else means Max won't be alone.
In all life is strange are always 2 romance options but if you noticed they are only telling us Amanda the girl and i think that because the second option is Chloe probably Amanda is a romance option for the ones that not save Chloe and for the ones that save her is going to be Chloe and maybe 50/50 Chloe or is going to appear in the final episode of the game or we are going to have like a phone call with her probably that is my theory but in all life is strange are only two options so for me the two options are Amanda the new girl and Chloe. I feel like Moses is only going to be a friend for Max like Safi. And yeah Amanda is the girl you are talking about.
I didn't sacrifice entire millions of people so that Max can move on to these people. I am sure they are nice but Life is Strange 1 introduced Chloe and Max pretty much inseparable. I get the idea "people drift apart and move on" but the fact that they give us two romantic options completely disvalue the dynamic between Chloe and Max. If I ever play this game, Max will go solo
I think Moses is gonna be the Warren of this game helping Max figure out how the new powers work. It’s possible he is a romance option, dunno. I do think what you said about the cafe conversation makes sense. I just hope they didn’t have Max and Chloe split just because they want these new romance options. I hope they at least give the player the option to have Max say she is in a relationship already, but I kinda worry Max has split from Chloe. I mean why would she have not visited Max in 6 months? Maybe they are on a break? Maybe Max/Chloe had a mental breakdown or Max used her power again?(maybe Safi’s mom?) Max seems not just closed off, but suffering something? Her need to explore abandoned empty buildings and as she arrive alone at a destination worry me, as her reaction to taking photos still seems to trigger PTSD in her(unless that’s a reaction to this other time traveling killer) She even hears voices after the 2nd one where you hear her shouting that this is all her fault. I am not expecting Max to not have trans or have changed since LIS1, but it feels like she’s holding stuff in? Probably because the only person she could talk to about it was Chloe and for whatever reason she’s not here. Anyway hope if do give the option to say she’s in a relationship they don’t let Max cheat or anything. She’s hurt Chloe enough already. Since any good game with romance options let’s the player decide whether to engage in then or not, I hope they didn’t drop Chloe because of it, because I am sure the game is not gonna make you decide to romance anyone, so throwing pricefield under the bus doesn’t make sense to me when they should already have dialogue to keep things friends only. They might just be baiting people into thinking that pricefield is done and I hope that is the case. Otherwise I wish they’d have just said that they were following the bay ending only.
My thought at the moment is Max will be long distance from Chloe for this job opportunity. I hope so on the bae path anyway, fans will riot if they break them up!

Im really falling out of love with lis, if they dont show chloe and max beeing together than i just wont care about it anymore. They need to start with damage Control before half of the fanbase is gone (the half who posts daylie content about max and chloe and who kept lis alive for over 10 yrs).
I love the idea of her being able to romance a guy because I always played her as straight and with Chloe as best friend (and that absolutely worked and felt good). But I don’t like this guy for her at all! I would actually be fine with no romance and just she solves the mystery, I don’t trust writers in 2024 to give her the guy of her dreams 😂🤷🏻♀️
I get the impression Max will be closer to Moses in the timeline where Safi is dead (since she'll spend more time with Safi when Safi is alive). So, if Max ends up in a relationship with Moses, it could be awkward when she's in the other timeline and not as close to him.
In my timeline Chloe is dead I'ma straight guy who enjoys these games I always do a run where I choose choices I personally would make so yeah I've always shipped the women romance partners 😂
@@darthmaul3228 i meannn he kind of was a little weird, he was overly clingy and if you look out of max’s dorm window there’s a chance you’ll see him looking at her window outside. i don’t think he’s a bad person or that he had bad intentions. he was just a 16 year old kid who didn’t know how to handle his feelings. doesn’t mean he didn’t need to tone it down a bit, though.

Warren was probably the most realistic character and ppls hate to admit how akward they were in that age. On other hand beloved Chloe if that s IRL u would run away asap if u dont want end up on drugs, murdered or in jail. But if ppls are fine with sacrificing whole town for de facto criminal with death wish no wonder they hate Warren. Sure Chloe has lot of pain but theft, breaking and entering, vandalism, blackmail, drugs, alcohol etc. That s not gonna help with that. It s just gonna make it worse.

People who chose the bay also keep life is strange alive let’s not try to split the fanbase, your ending is not canon anymore than the bay is.
