Severance was one hell of a ride, I watched it this March and it turned out to be one of my favorite shows of all time. Can’t wait to see your reaction to the breathtaking cliffhanger
I don't even consider the finale to end on a cliffhanger. Everyone accomplishes something. Irving calls for Burt, Helly attacks Lumon, and Mark yells "she's alive" before he switches.
I think Kier is still alive and his consciousness has been implanted in each CEO that was put in charge after the last died. I think Lumon is trying to crack the code to eternal life or living for a very long time. However, Its possible the process is still not perfected though, so they created this "job" simulation to test what emotions can impact the severance. Ms.Casey is just one of the many test subjects. Maybe most of the board is severed or implanted with past Kier family members. idk! This Show is so freaking interesting!
One of the reasons I love watching these guys is because their reactions are so real! the minute I saw started Severance, I just finsihed binging the show and could'nt wait to watch them experience this for the first time!
Hey now, that im basically rewatching it with yall, i wonder if Irving is so "devoted" because he has been re-programmed a lot. Especially since he is constantly painting the "testing floor". He's an artist, so i would expect his outie to be more "free" and is "innie" to reflect a bit of that personality. His innie seeing the constricted "innie" life, could of been like innie Helly at one point🤔
I think it's mostly because of who his outie is. He has the "base" level personality of his outie without all the stuff that's jaded his outie. (Not a spoiler since they've clearly already watched) His military service is a big clue to me as to why he finds it so easy to fall in line. It even shows in how he stands and how he talks to/addresses people.
I like the theory that they reset the innies when they get too close to becoming an issue to the company, but in the end I dont think thats whats going on. Because if Mark didnt remember the times he tried to find a way out, he wouldnt have immediately reasons at hand why Hellys escape attempts wont work. Hes been through all that Helly goes through in season 1, thats why hes so lethargic about everything, he doesnt believe that he can escape his fate, so he just wants to try to make the best out of it and avoid the break room.
something has to be different with mark tho company wise they gave him that special mold of himself. perhaps they erase others like irving and kept mark for some reason like a test subjrct
I don't think Cobel said that to be petty. Cause she specifically said 'Get away from them!' and doesn't like the people in charge (the board). So I think its personal for her fr fr
One little correction: Ms Cobel wasn't the one who left the book out. She gave it to Milchick to check for hidden messages, and he forgot it in the conference room when Helly set off the alarm by trying to escape.
One of the most interesting mysteries of this first season is Cobel's apparent interest in seeing if Mark and Gemma can remember each other. She looks genuinely sad when they settle back into the routine of the wellness session and their emotions go away.
Something to keep in mind: The brother-in-law's book is cringe to us in part because we're adults and it's stating obvious facts. But for the innies, it's all new... because they're basically children. Something emphasized a few times in the show.
Merry Christmas yall!
Merry Christmas
Merry chrysler
Merry Christmas nigga
Merry Christmas to you too❤❤❤❤
Merry Christmas Roshi 🎄 ☃️
Lupa freaking out over the cliffhanger is a fantastic Christmas present!
Lupa was ready to cry when the credits rolled 😭
The egg bar is coveted as fuck.
It looks like Irving drinks a lot of coffee. Maybe he's purposely depriving his innie of sleep causing his memories to bleed through.
great catch
explains why his innie keeps falling asleep at his desk! great catch actually
Damn that's a great point
MINOR SPOILERS
The next episode backs this idea with what innie Irving finds
No wonder he takes a lot of naps at work!
Roshi staring down the camera whenever there's a cliffhanger.🤣🤣
Severance was one hell of a ride, I watched it this March and it turned out to be one of my favorite shows of all time. Can’t wait to see your reaction to the breathtaking cliffhanger
they said it was arguably their best reaction ever pretty sure they enjoyed it

Sheera's 'No, wait!' was so perfect XD
Man said F the illusion, we're about to watch the next episode right now 😂

He's the only one of the group that was transferred from a different department.
the best Christmas gift is a severance reaction 😇

@xfrederic564 They gave him a special reward for processing that file so quickly.
Which is something they do. Dylan gets a similar reward after all.
Lupa's reaction at the end says it all. This show is wayyyyy too damn good 🧡
The fact that HoTD won the Emmy for "Best Drama" over Severance still pisses me off
Thank you for this Christmas gift I hope everyone is having a happy Christmas ❤

I love people's reaction to this cliffhanger! So many are like "We're watching the next episode RN"
These last 3 episodes are a 3 hour unskippable movie. Got work tomorrow? I guess not.
That's not fair! You watched the next ep immediately, but we have to wait until Monday!

The look on your faces at the end with the cliffhanger had me dying laughing lol
Oh man! One episode left! My favourite one too. If Lupa was dying from anxiety from episode 8 then he's in for a treat. This show is just great :D

Merry Christmas to the goats
I strongly believe ol dude is painting the hallway to the breakroom and not the elevator that Ms. Casey got on
Severance reaction on Christmas?? Thank Santa 🙏🙏🙏
One of the most interesting mysteries of this first season is Cobel's apparent interest in seeing if Mark and Gemma can remember each other. She looks genuinely sad when they settle back into the routine of the wellness session and their emotions go away.
Merry Christmas to you three and as well as any other strangers out there this day. This random internet stranger is thinking about you.
Merry Christmas, Roshi gang! 🖐️👋✌️🎅🏾

That waffle party gave me some Eyes Wide Shut vibes.
6:08 🤓 thats 210 + sessions, and 107 hrs is less than 5 days
I wonder why Irving was in the testing room/floor with his painting? I feel so bad for Ms. Casey
😂 OMG, did they passed out when season ended? If THAT is the reaction to ending of episode 8, I can’t imagine how they will be the next time.
StresssssS
We Out Here🤘
Bro I almost threw my phone….
Freaky Waffle Party is the wildest shit in this show
dinner
What evidence do you have from the show that they can insert "personality" into the chips or that the chips "contain" any part of the person?
Idk about you guys, but for Christmas next year, I’d like a waffle party 😂. FR though wtf was that.
