Got a tag in 2003 (once in 35 years of drawing)...My Daughter B-Day. 1/4 mile from the house, 2 pokes with a 45-70 405 gr (same spot) crash down. 45 minutes and gutted an loaded whole in to back of a 94 Toyota Pickup 464 lbs hanging 34 inch....Still a Trophy too me. #'s on decline here. I drew again 2022....logged near 1000 miles, calling and spotting...nothing to be seen till last 2 days, but they were out of reach at 6500 ft, and 3 ft snow. still am grateful for opportunity. Management bucks ($) are what keep us all out there, and our Wildlife Healthy and Viable. Congratulations on the Bull.
Hey thanks for watching and yes every time you can make it out on the land hunting /fishing is always a great time and to be able to harvest a bull close to home is always a bonus as the best meat ever lol in my many many years of guiding there has been struggles but i learned to find a way and to keep pushing and going and learning new things everyday lol thanks for the comment!!
Moose meat Smokies a complete diet....till they are gone...then their worth 3 x's their weight in gold......Supply and demand. have to wait seven years to apply again....odd against surviving that long....but at least I have a goal.@@steveakamooseman7786
