I got a old 2009 Polaris 750 wide track never got back to anything but. Maybe a newer Scandic in the future. Thanks

i have known Danny since i was 7-8 yrs old lol and been on trapline with him multiple times and we get along really good and lookout for each other out there . thanks for the great comment we appreciate that very much and stay tuned more to come .
Never a bad day in the bush and you guys had a great one, seems like Danny is showing you the tricks of the trade or are ya a seasoned trapper to boot? Either way these clips show a way of life most never dreamed of. Your versatility in your vids is addicting..
i have know Danny since i was 8-9yrs old and been following since 13-14 yrs old on and off till last few winters . always a good time out there helping each other and just being out there , all i do is help him out there breaking trails new trails and its so far if anything happens at least there is 2 skidoo for rescue lol trying to get back in shape lol more videos soon ...

Another great vid 👌...the setup with 4 nails and chunk of wire is so efficient...trigger down and to outside of box and springs pulled forward away from tree always...can you ask Danny reasoning for that ? Keep em coming
Thanks 👍 and trigger down so marten gets caught suitcase style he says and if it was up to him he wants marten to stay in the box [why he puts springs outside and he has his little block inside to hold trap so fox and lynx can't knock them out they stay till trap is set off ]as sometimes fox or other critters eat when hanging lol stay tuned more coming
which skidoo do you prefer for this type of environment? especially for breaking in new trail? dannys swt? or your xtreme? im looking for an all-round snowmobile for very similar snow/bush, but im wanting some comfort for the lakes also....cheers from saskatchewan.
that swt is a powerful machine and efficient on fuel aswell they are both pretty good but the swt is my next purchase for sure but all depends what style of riding you want to do . thanks for watching and for your comment.

If they made the skandic with same options as the expedition with big motors i would have skandic as pogo style front suspension is the way to go

Man alive I am very surprised that you gentlemen hang your Martin boxes access up but not access down seems like Falling in Reverse. Snow falls in the Box covering up the bait. Every other Trapper I've seen is access from the bottom. Does this work yes would it be better yes what are your thoughts does make sense but I'm not a Trapper. But if you hang them but if you hang them upside down and have the walking tree. The Quarry will be swinging in midair and not be chewed on by mice.
Danny can hang them downwards but Danny says he rather them upwards as 60-75% of the time they will stay in the box and not get eaten by foxes or other critters . his favourite is setting on the ground but then if fox or other critters come by can ruin the catch , thanks for watching and for the comment more to come .
@@steveakamooseman7786 what do you not have to worry about having them freeze up and checking them more often with all the snow.
Just curious you must run them everyday to clean them and keep them firing on point for the best catch probability hanging them upright yes you were scoring but I cannot get my head around it. 🤔

I can either get an 850 E tech or the new 900 turbo R. Thoughts?
I have a cottage where it’s mostly logging roads and back bush and lakes not as many groomed trails. My preference is the four stroke but I’m just concerned may be too heavy or is that a little hogwash? Really I’m just wondering if I should go with the four stroke turbo R
Hey thanks for asking and in my opinion if your going 4 stroke and breaking trail and getting firewood, I would recommend SWT 900 ace turbo R as it has everything you need for performance on and off trail and a work horse as well . With what i saw with Danny’s my next
Purchase will be the 900 ace turbo R expedition unless they put it in the Skandic chasis as when i bought mine i didn’t have the bigger options . Hopefully this helps you in making the decision . If your hauling sleighs and everyones gear 4 stroke all the way .
No Flying Squirrel or Ermine fouling the marten sets ? Or ya just don't show those little buggers.
