Great video! I'm gamemastering Pathfinder 2e and the lore for the Catfolk is heavily based on Khajiiti lore and I needed more info about the Manes, they will play an important role on my campaign.
I've been working a few months in a fanfic, wich someday i pretend to animate. The fanfic is about a civil war between the aristocratic society of Pelletine who's loyal to the Third Aldmeri Dominion, and a coalition of rebel tribes in Anequina that proclame that a 8 year old young khajiit is the Mane, and that they are unifying Elsweyr under the hope of an independent and free nation who is liderated by this young boy. I have to work more on some things, but i have a strong base alredy. Btw sorry for my english.
Despite you not being a khajiit, this one is impressed by your knowledge on Elsweyr. Though, J'zargo does not care mutch about the mane. J'zargo could beat him easily using his vast skills of destruction magic.
I take it then that Akkuz-Ri quite heavily broke against the non-political praxis as he aligned Elsweyr with Queen Ayrenn in the Aldmeri Dominion. Wouldn't there have been opposition to his involvement in the Three Banners War based on the nature of his station?
He is apolitical to the domestic politics. If elsweyr as one agrees to join the dominion (or a significant majority) he is definitely allowed to act Id imagine. As long as he acts like a leader to all khajiit. As a sidenote, his speaker, garesh ri, was the one that actually signed the dominion treaties as he does the political side
In respect of your passion and dedication, I feel it's important to tell you that if you want your channel to thrive, you need to improve your presentation skills. Im a viewer who keeps clicking to see your videos, and leaving. To me, your videos seem to largely be a fast paced rambling monotone infodump. It isn't always that way, but that seems to be your norm, and I find that i am incompatible with it. I want to enjoy your hard work and insightful content, but it's not possible for me in this format. Do whatever you like, and whatever you think is best for you. I'd like to see you succeed. You deserve to make a living doing what you love. You don't have to take my word for it. Ask other successful TH-camrs from other games or genres for critiques and advice. I wish you the best bro.
Yeah I get very mixed messages on it, a lot of people appreciate the infodump while others are quite annoyed by my way of presentation. It’s a shame my way of creating content and the way you can enjoy content are incompatible, it’s understandable and you aren’t the only one with that issue with my content. But I don’t think I’ll be able to change my way of creating content unfortunately :(
I like the "theory" that the whole race of the khajiit is a Tower and the mane is its Stone.
