I personally enjoyed the video. it's how I roll if I had £4 to spend in CEX, makes sense to get the best bang for your money and walk away with 3 games. They can keep the PS5 as I'm not buying it lol 😂
Battlefield Bad Company 2 was and still is my favourite BF game. The hours I put into the online game. The story is great to but it was online that I loved.

Too be fair, i got Outriders day one edition on PS5 for £5..... I was actually really surprised with how much fun that game is.
Take it from someone who recently dropped back into Pure Football, it's such a slog! 😂
It came out in 2010 to try and cash in on the World Cup hype, but just falls totally flat of the official 2010 World Cup game- the gameplay is cumbersome, the obsession with QTEs and specific button timings for things like corners and shots is tedious, and the world tour mode takes fucking forever to get anywhere in, as you have to play for hours to get any players who are half decent.
Great video TVM. It's amazing the value for money that can be found. Even some games from the original Xbox and 360 that are compatible with the Series X can be bought for very little.
As for collecting a full set, I'd split them across consoles. I'd rather have the best version of the game.
I prefer dragon age 1 which runs on xbox series x but I dont know the 360 full games list that work on the xbox series x
I would absolutely try to buy the best version of a game if I had a way to play it. I feel that a lot of cross-generation games are designed with new hardware in mind then scaled back rather than the other way around.
In my mind there's zero point in playing an inferior version of a game unless you love the series and want to see differences. It may make interesting content to do a comparison between the versions though. I think the only caveat to that would be for the Switch, if you have a lifestyle that requires you to be away from the "more powerful" system (ie having young kids and needing to be present) playing something that has been scaled back to less powerful hardware can be helpful. I use Bayonetta as an example. I have the PC port and a substantial PC to play it on, but sometimes I need to be supervising my child so the Switch port is way more convenient for me. The Switch port plays well enough, and on the small screen, you don't really notice the graphical downgrade. It still runs at around 60fps so it doesn't feel like a downgrade from the PC or home console ports which is awesome.
Bear in mind I mostly play on PC, so whenever I make upgrades (ie once every 6 or 7 years lol) all of my games become a better way to play it as better processors and graphics cards mean I can push the game into higher resolutions with higher frame rates. I suppose it depends on how you want a collection to look on shelves though - do you want an entire series together on one platform for "complete series" aesthetic, or do you exclusively want the absolute best way to play it? I don't think there's a right and wrong answer to this though... With the price of 360/PS3 games right now, it wouldn't hurt to have both versions - one to play, one for display.

Wow, in America you can't find any xbox 360/PS3 games anymore in Gamestop. Its a shame since PS3 games are the only physical ones I buy.
CEX is not like Gamestop, its all pre-owned all generations. our version of gamestop is called GAME and only sells 8th and 9th Gen

@@gameshack1985 If he's genuinely skint i'm not gonna knock him for that. Sad times. But I don't think he is, he's just helbent on not spending any money on his collection out of pocket. I get it, but to say it's going slow is an understatement.
@@nicklong27 I'd imagine it's pretty true, he had to sell off a load of games for his holiday last year. this channel is his income, and views are declining, the sub count is just a relic of the past. I imagine it just now comes down to a video booming occasionally, so he has to talk about cex and GAME and pump out as many as possible in hope of that.
Lets hope not but wouldnt it be a disaster if TVM builds up this CEX credit and CEX goes bust, i say this as sadly so many retail stores struggle in the UK so none are immune. Good old cash is the safest bet.
CEX are in a very strong position now especially with GAME no longer doing trade ins, i think CEX will be around for a very long time.
@@legendkiller2k Agree, but never say never. After Xmas the past 3-6 years you nearly always hear about major retail chains going bust, its sad but its a state of retail in the UK at the moment and online shopping.
Xbox one game's come and go on game's pass. So it might be worth getting the game's while they are on game pass as they will be cheaper an that way you play for periods they are not on game pass if they don't come back on game pass
I think if you want a set then it should be all on the same platform. If you want it for game play reasons then get on the newer platform 😊
If the games are on different platform then the best way to go is chosing each game by the platform that has the best version. As long as you have the right consoles to do that obviously.
Bought Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II on 360, but Inquisition on Xbox one as far better 👍 £5 altogether cant go wrong 😁

He's limited to what's on offer, Especially with boot sales being either wash ours or cancelled. Hopefully things will improve with better weather.

Cool video. I have no issue doing the same sort of thing I picked up a couple of games in the past few weeks that are essential for my collection without spending much at all. I got a copy of Max Payne 3 on the 360 which is in basically brand new condition complete with manual. That was £5.00. I know it's not inside the £4.00 budget like you have for your video but still its mint and whats a fiver for a game like that in absolute mint condition. I got golden eye rogue agent for the OG xbox, fantastic condition complete with manual. Unfortunately it doesnt work on the Series X but Im still to try it on the 360, hopefully it works on there, it was only £1.50 so basically peanuts. Finally i got Deus Ex Human Revolution Limited Edition on the 360. Another game complete and in surprisingly good condition. That one I bought in Cash Converters for £1.00. So thats 3 games for £7.50 that will definately provide hours of entertainment. You can't go wrong for that money. My other pick ups this month that dont qualify for this low of a budget but might aswell mention are, Half Life PS2 £12.00 CEX not the best condition but passable and I needed a copy. F.E.A.R (1) XBOX 360 £10.00 CEX again and again not the best condition but passable and complete with manual and that completes the F.E.A.R series for me, all on 360. I've started to pick up my games based on condition now. I pretty much know the games I want so when I see one in good condition I pick it up. If I see a game I want and it's a bit ropey, I just leave it because I know Im bound to see it again sooner or later. I couldn't do that with F.E.A.R or Half Life for the PS2. They are a bit harder to find these days and the chances are that if I do see one of them again anytime soon they would most likely be copies in alot worse condition than the ones I picked up. Anyway great video as always, keep up the good work!!! 💯
