    Tumai really embodies leadership and mentorship.
    He is generous with what I believe is the most important 'gift' we have as people - time. We all have 24 hrs in our day and what we do with our time is mostly our choice and he makes time for the people that need him, of course, within the confines of his personal needs. I really appreciate that about him!

    Thank you Trevor and well done. Love disrupting oneself and the value of mentorship, especially allowing the mentee to decide their own path. One suggestion, it seems that he is answering questions, it would be nice to flash the questions on the screen so the audience can follow the logic of the response. It also creates that pose as speaker moves from one topic/angle to another. #topfan

    Thoughts on Masterclass: great concept but poor execution! A masterclass is supposed to be a deep and personal dive into a focussed topic/subject/theme. For example , Tumai Mafunga , a 20 year Deloitte Partner was supposed to give us a masterclass on the “Accounting Profession” >>> the path , how he became a partner, how to network, some client stories ( not going deeper on his relationship with Douglas Mboweni was a missed opportunity) , skills needed and other revealing, unique stories. However, the whole “masterclass” came out as just an extended version of In Conversation with Trevor!

    Great lessons, but a lot of swing/head movement on his part or its the editing to make sure every shot was face front and no side view?

    Big fan , love the wisdom in this man. But Tumai had very poor sound. Had to play around with the volume through out the whole episode.

    • @mbizi4573
      @mbizi4573 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really? It could be your sound settings buddy

    • @UpJumpsDaParty
      @UpJumpsDaParty 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me its not really a case of poor sound but a challenge of sound mixing in almost all of Trevor's episodes. The intro, adverts and interludes are always VERY loud whilst the conversations are at a lower volume. If you turn up the volume to enjoy the conversation, whenever the intro or an advert/interlude comes on, that loud sound is an annoyance. The volumes between the conversations and the intro.adverts/interludes just needs to be equalised.

      Great interview Mr President

    • @UpJumpsDaParty
      @UpJumpsDaParty 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      True. Its overdone and is a bit of a distraction from the great content being delivered. Keeping one camera view throughout a full sentence or paragraph will help focus on whats being said. When listened to as an audio podcast that distraction is not there of course.
