Hi what did you sand the brass with, how do you avoid sanding into the surrounding wood?
      Cheers Greg

That was a masters class in box making. The technique was refined. The skill was impressive and the video quality fantastic. I normally hate videos with no voiceover but this one was so well done that I did not miss the narration. Thanks you.

Dustin's an artist. Beautiful box even without the special top. The top puts it in another galaxy for sure.

Really nice job. Real pleasure to watch. Loved the idea of the star effect on the top. I think it really paid your patience of doing all the extra job that implied.

Your video is mesmerizing in more ways than one, not the least of which is the absence of distractive music that only serves to annoy the viewer. So kudos to your good taste and amazing workmanship.

Nice tip for not running the dado thru the end of the dovetail. Haven't seen that before. Thanks for sharing!

  • @msmith2961

    Loved the build!
The ability to teach new techniques without talking is special! I now know how to cheat and get parallel surfaces with a jointer smaller than the board!
Need to buy a jointer now. And planer. And table saw. And definitely a Katz Jig. And the Rockler templates..
Damn, I'm just gonna buy a nice box.
