Yeah, I've seen this in text books as one page pieces spread over three different chapters... Of course none of it is even remotely explained as clearly as in this video.

I teach English. Small point to help you. Say the 't' and 'd' at the end of words a little stronger. Your 'felt' should be very different from 'feel' for eg. Okibari yasu! You are doing great!!!!!

Here's just a small comment I'd like to make. In this context, we never really tell someone "I'm happy to see you" BEFORE meeting up with them. That just sounds very strange because you cannot SEE them just yet. But you could say "I'll be happy to see you"/" I can't wait to see you".

Actually, it would be I am so happy I could see you today or I am happy to see you. You have to remember there aren’t always exact sentences in japanese to express English subtleties. It’s the same sentence for japanese.

Hello sensei , thank you for all the great lessons. I do have a question. Why for the verb goukaku instead of using particle wo or ga , the particle used is ni. Exalple given : テストに 合格して 嬉しい . Testoni goukakushite ureshii.

Miku sensei, what is the different about "yokatta (良い in past form)" between "yokatta that means glad"?
よかった means "that was good" which is why it could be interpreted as "glad" in an english translation, there's not really a difference in the actual japanese

"I'm glad it doesn't rain here." ？？？
One is past tense, one is present tense (like, "it doesn't rain here in general").
雨が降らなくていい how about that ?
ここに雨が降らなくてよかった。I'm not sure though.

your English is incredible but just a small tip when saying a sentence such as ‘ I’m glad I noticed it before I go on a date’ it would sound more natural and like a native speaker to say something like ‘I’m so glad i noticed it before I went on my date ‘ or ‘I’m so glad I noticed it before my date’ just trying to help ya out a little

ex) 合格したから飲みに行く。or 合格したので飲みに行きます。/ 雨が降ってるからキャンセルする。
cf) 雨が降って残念。
3. 12:39 무언가를 할 수 없는/할수 없었던 이유를 댈 때는 て형과 から/ので 모두 사용 가능~(て형을 사용하는 빈도가 더 높긴 해~)
ex) 仕事があるから行けない。(o) 仕事があって行けない。(o) 모두 가능 / 緊張して話せない。/ お腹が痛くて寝られなかった。/ 熱くて食べられない。/ 熱すぎて食べられない。/ 眠くて集中できない。/ 心配で寝られない。

※ 영상 외 자료에서 찾은 문장들:「このパンは安くて買った。」「春の日差しは暖かくて眠くなる。」는 자연스럽다고 함..

Another great tutorial, Miku. Watch out for that common English pronunciation mistake that Japanese speakers often make because they learned the pronunciation with katakana. Dont say "shit-uation" but "sit"uation.
