Great video, he's definitely right, back injuries take forever to heal. This fear has totally reprogrammed my brain and its terrifying. There is zero natural movement left and im only 39. The stress is more than most people can handle, myself included.
I've been there, it sucks. Fear is the #1 limiter in the rehab process and we need to find a way through it without causing a flare up. Hey, how are you doing now? You sound exactly like me. I'm 38. Mother to 4 but chronic back pain is ruining my life and no doubt tainting their's. Hello guilt and shame on top of pain. Hope you're feeling much better x
I was told by my surgeon that my backbone isn't straight but curved. He said that operating on bones are difficult. He suggested steroid injection & physcial & massage therapy. Neither one has worked. I'm still in pain. Pain in lower back both cheeks of my butt. Both thighs, groin, knees, below knees. sometimes calves, ankles, feet & toes. I can't do anything without pain.
It also depends on your personality and if you are used to pain. I have rheumatism and fibromyalgia which causes pain 24/7. A few months ago I started having problems caused by a lumbar hernia. Couldn’t do shit for a week. But started training as soon as I could get up. Each week I train something new and keep looking for the limits of my body. Yes sometimes you want to give up, but being in pain is a great motivator for me to keep going.
Been avoiding things for 2.5 years since a crazy lower back injury which put me out of work for 6 months. Realized I messed up bad "resting" too much and avoiding movements because I was scared of being out of work for more time. Slowly getting back into it now and hoping its not too late 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hi, what about rehabilitation and movement with Tarlov cysts? It’s not asymptomatic at all. I have a lot of tingling, prickling, electric sensations throughout my lower leg, my lower back where the cysts are located is so stiff, I’m dragging my foot, it’s making me go the restroom all the time.
