I like these little trips, I'm learning a lot about loading the boat, fuel consumption and best speed to cruise at. I'm planning on doing a river trip thats around 115 miles long and 2 nights of camping along the way. If you like my videos SUBSCRIBE and LIKE the video. Went there today....sucha badass chill spot. Sooooooo effing cooooool. Fam jus bought the property at the cement Bridge on the south side all up against rocky rd. Thx for upload!!!!!!!!!
Back in the Day used to be a cable across Rocky Creek about 100 yards back saying the Limits of Lake Livingston. They also sunk an old car at one of the pinch points to keep boats out. Neither ever worked though!
theres another little water fall on highway 19 heading towards the trinity river bridge that my dad would use to determine the water level before we ever got to cove marina.
I have lived on that lake going on 25 years and never knew about it. I have seen smaller ones on some of the smaller creeks in the national forest. Awesome shit bro
Wow that’s a big boat for in there it’s kinda narrow. Could you turn around or have to back out? I guess it would be wider if there was a lot of rainfall and the level was up.
@@Xploring_The_Outdoors i dont remember what we did to get it out. But the water level of the lake was about 2 feet higher since we had a massive rain storm all week. It freaked out some jet skiers.
Yes people swim there every summer, I believe the land on either side is private property so you’d have to take a boat, kayak or whatever to get there.
@@Xploring_The_Outdoors yes, but I dont seem them at the pool but up in the trees on the side of the creek. I fish off a jet ski and they were not happy to see me blow through there but they have green boats, in camo tucked up in a log on the side lol. Im trying to figure out when I'm going back that way to catch some fish

Interesting I didn’t know that
Thanks for taking us along. Really enjoyed the ride along!
No Problem
Excellent video. I just moved out here by this lake. Can't wait to get a boat set up like yours and explore all the fishing holes
There’s a lot here to explore
Great editing on this video! Love the drone footage! Awesome waterfall !
Hey thanks I’m getting better at the editing part and trying to use my drone more just really nervous over water lol
My favorite video so far! Love your adventures 😃
@@Xploring_The_Outdoors I just finished editing the new Mountain Dew hot sauce review. Should be uploaded soon 😃
I'm super proud of the way it turned out.
👍
Good luck getting in there during the summer time. Especially on a holiday weekend. Its packed full of boats , jet skiis and drunks.
Lol oh I know, that’s why I only go when it’s to cold to swim. I won’t take my boat out on the lake on holiday weekends period.
seriously lol i've seen a pontoon boat back there before

Really? I like finding stuff like that, I’m gonna have to try and find it.

@@Xploring_The_Outdoors That's awesome I will have to go and check it out some time.
@@Xploring_The_Outdoors absolutely
Awesome
We took a 30 foot pontoon boat in there but only after a major rain storm.

@@CaughtMedia I bet I had an 18’ pontoon I never took it there but a 30’ that’s huge lol.
Is the water okay to swim in here and can you hike put there or must get there by boat?

@@Xploring_The_Outdoors thank you. Are there any marinas there that rent kayaks and how long will it take to get there?
@@yahwehschild1375 broken arrow Marina Ritz, little boats I think, and it’s only 2 miles
Camped there several times
I wanted to camp there but heard it was all private property around there.
@@Xploring_The_Outdoors we pitched tents right on the creek edge for better or worse. Figured theyd just make us go…no like theyd shoot
how can i get there???
It’s up Rocky creek
Troll some live minnows in that area and you will catch huge bass.
Really I’ve been planning to try crappie fishing in the area, just been busy building my trailer project. I’ll have to try that. Thanks
@@Xploring_The_Outdoors I bought live minnows from Broken Arrow Lodge and had a blast catching Bass, the bites where non stop.
@@edwardhouston8676 awesome
We go up there to BBQ and swim.
I hate that people go up there and leave there trash.
I try to pick up a little trash and bring it back to throw away
Agreed.....told my kids I gonna always bring trash bags
I want to get me a boat like that.
I want to take my boat and leave from Livingston dam and follow the trinity river to the bay camping along the way 115 miles
what does it look like farther up?
Never been any further I’d like to though
I know where this is! But I won't tell. I've caught 2 limits in that pool
I’ve heard crappie fishing is good up that way
