For those wondering, this is what $100,000 in cash would look like... except it was $25 worth of fake cash I bought on Amazon for movie props. It literally says "In Hollywood We Trust" on it lol. The amount of people getting triggered thinking this video was sponsored AND that the cash was real made it all worth it! Lol

We just watched an 8-minute ad, and I don't even care - that had me giggling the entire time!
Also, I have one of the original roll-up Ifixit kits - I had it for .. probably 6 or 7 years, and it has let me fix pretty much everything I ever need to look at (computers, phones, tablets, did my water cooling upgrade for my PC). Definitely love their stuff!

I've been a service tech since the 80's and fixed basically anything that used power and moved to IT full time in the late 90's and have had to have quality tools for everything I've done and I have to say iFixit is the best for computer work I've ever used. What made me interested was when you used and recommended them before they were a sponsor and I recommend them as well.
I love that he did that first iFixit commercial without them even asking and they loved it so much they decided to make it a real sponsored ad.

The hex bit in the kit is SO much better for flat pack furniture than the allen wrenches they come with. There is so much wear on mine from building cheap furniture....

Tip for making the batteries in cheap calipers last longer - don't store them with the batteries installed. Even when the calipers are "off" they still draw from the battery (which good ones do as well, but it's a higher draw on the cheap ones)
I have a bunch of cheap ones around, and since I learned that, I have some I've had for years with fairly frequent use that are still on the batteries they came with.
i just use a utility caliper for 99% of the stuff i do and it works for it most of the time. Same from Harbor Freight but the even cheaper plastic one. No batteries needed. When i need crazy precise( like 0.2-0.9mm) measurements i either eyeball it or bust out the Quinn caliper.
Just need to check / reset the origin point when you do that though.
You don't even have to take them out, just shove something thin that's non-conductive in there to break the electrical connection.
@@RandoWisLuL I just use non-digital calipers. $27 from harbor freight and precise to .001 of an inch. (.025mm)
I have a pair of Starrett ones that do the same, so it isn’t just the cheap ones. Definitely store w/o the battery installed and always have at least one spare. I still prefer the analog ones over the digital for this reason.

Love my IfixIt kit, never realized the value until I finally got one thanks to this channel. From my Gundam models, PC/Laptop repair & even older game consoles that I repair/clean.
I have one of the smaller iFixit screw driver bit set things. It didn't come with a bag of money, but I think one of your ads made me finally get it. I've used it more for my dumb projects than a normal garage set I have. And, I used them to upgrade the storage in my steam deck when I got it!

I bought an ifixit tool kit earlier this year, and I love it. The top one complaint I have is that I wish the magnet in the handle was a little bit stronger, but other than that, it's awesome.

Jay's iFixit ads got me to buy a pro tech toolkit. This is actually super handy dandy for microelectronics and other stuff with small screws
Also, make sure to use the magnetic pad to keep your screws in place and not lose them from sight.
Needless to say, they blew it out of the park with their tools and their repair tutorials.

I told my girlfriend I wanted an iFixit kit for christmas, she had an emotion-less face and said "are you serious?" and she bought one and she was so confused when I was so happy when I got one. Now every time I take it out, I tell her "see, I can use my iFixit kit for this" or "if I hadn't had this kit I wouldn't been able to fix this" etc.
I bought an iFixit kit a few years ago so when I built my PC I'd have the proper stuff to put it together but turns out I've used it more on my Ebike than anything else I don't even think I used it on a pc at all. Keep up the good work.
