Thanks for the comments on the Espero, that's my car which made its debut at Rustival. It hasn't been on the road since 2021, I acquired it in March this year.

@@Lot76CARS you are correct, I think there's less than 10 left in roadworthy condition. I ended up with three at once but two had to go. You would be welcome to review it.

Hi mate, thats my Lanos at 31:04 , Glad you took interest in it, it's taken alot of effort to get it to that stage so really happy to see someone appreciate it. They're only getting rarer so hopefully it will have a cult following in the near future.
I’ve more than a passing interest in Daewoo having made a video a while back… plus I was parked next to the red Lanos in the FOTU concours this year. What killed Daewoo Motors?

@@Lot76CARS My Lanos was at FOTU this year but at the very far end so im not sure if many noticed it. Genuinely not bad cars just lacking on quality a little bit
@lochlanroche8528 the paint on your car is incredible, has it had a repaint?
@@Lot76CARS i keep trying to reply but i think its getting filtered as spam or something but yes it has, i do have a full story about the car on my social media. All but the boot and roof have been painted and a few panels blended.
As expected a great turn out again and blessed with the only sunny day of the week.
My Dad test drove a Hyundai Accent coupe in 96. I remember having a Hyundai music CD that I picked up the British Motor Show I'm the 90's. Not sure if I still have it but I didn't have one of the Renault CD's. Obviously a common occurrence getting these sorts of freebies in the 90's.
I recall few cars having 5 speed stickers/badges in the 80's which really shows how far cars have come in the past 40 years.
I thing that the Ro80 also had in board disc brakes up front at the very least. The styling also looks at least a decade beyond it's production.
I Di like that Alfa 164, it's not often a larger executive car is so desirable by design alone.
I'm envious of you getting to speak with Gentile about his BMW. I've not yet seen the car but have spoken with him a few
times and have been following the story.
Nice to see a two door Cavalier..it's a shame we don't see many large two door cars these days.

I've seen that Peugeot pick up a few times this year from a distance at various French car events.
A neighbour had a Daewoo Espero in period. With three children I suppose it was an appealing family car as it was probably a new car for used car money.
My friend had a 1.3 Astra MK2 as well, he later swapped the engine to a 1600 and put in a digital dash and exhaust from.a GTE and it was really quick.
I used to like Audi of the same era as that 100, the 80 was a nice car too.
Still think the 405 estate is a great looking car in both saloon and estate form.
I bet that Visa GTI will be the same one I saw at Simply French. I dint think they sold anything like as well as the hot Peugeot models of the time.
Nice to see a fiver door Sierra, my friends dad owned a few back in the day as did a few friends and neighbours. They went in to be very popular despite that early mixed reception.
Pontiac Lemans I dint think.ive ever seen on either side of the Atlantic and even in videos I've not seen a saloon version.
My uncle had a ZX and it was one of the most reliable cars ever and owned for a long time and used for long commutes every day.
Not seen an estate version of that Saab before, what a unicorn.
Scorpio looks fantastic.
My favourite generation of Toyota Celica though I'd probably opt due a hard top manual myself though this one does look superb. I remember seeing the saloon version I. The US which isn't as pretty as the lift back that we got in the UK.
Love the SD3 SX and Vitesse.
My Grandad has pre and post facelift 213's before moving onto the R8.

Like you I absolutely love all those additional brochures, CDs tapes and sales guides that people have somehow managed to a mass about their vehicles, it all adds to it. Along with those hidden gems like the Pontiac Le Mans and it’s UK cousin the Belmont it made for a cracking day out!
The green Mk6 Fiesta is mine! You are correct, they made 400 yellow initially, then 400 green were made and they followed up with 400 red. The yellow and red are called Anniversary and the green is a Celebration. Mine is number 569, each car came with a badge on the dashboard with the number but as these were dealer assigned there is no official record of the numbers and cars. Thank you for showing my car! 💚🏁

Bob the Escort is mine and yes the sunroof was a standard feature in 1988 (it was an optional extra previously)
I am very impressed that you noticed the original dealer sticker,he also has the original dealer rear number plate but unfortunately has lost the front one at some point

I must be getting old but I've started to appreciate Citroens!
Always loved the Traction Avant ( first fwd production car ?) but now I also admire their other designs ( SM, CX, AX,BX,2CV). So many radical designs from a mainstream manufacturer over and over again.
Thanks for the video. Next best thing to being there. I'll aim to be there in 2025 to keep the Mercedes Benz flag flying with yours.
PS. Found out Bruno Sacco died yesterday ( 28th). 40 years with MB and designer ( amongst others things ) of the 190E we know & love.

@@kevinbray9550 actually it was better than expected given it was the second event and late in the year, the weather really helped and 190s were well represented, I think 5 including mine!

@@Lot76CARS shocked down to this low levels. Had 20 odd 156s and a couple last year. Currently own a GTA 147. Dreamt 155 never got close getting one
