For concrete crews, Hisea makes a comfy steel toe high calf rubber boot that's flexible-snug to the calf and is great for muddy construction sites and perfect for wading into and screeding concrete pours and you don't get pebbles, rocks, or sand flopping in like other open top concrete pouring boots. I've had mine for over a year and really heavy duty.

OUTSTANDING review and thank you both so much for that review. You always do fair reviews and they are really helpful from a practical, no BS perspective. I'm in the market right now for a pair of boots and it's always hard to tell how they'll hold up, feel, etc. so this was extremely help. It was also especially useful to see your use compared to your son's - he really added some very good points. We've never even heard of this company but they have TONS of shoes & boots. I order a couple pair of these during the lockdown. I alternated them every other day until a couple months ago, and they were very comfortable. I work in a recycling center and am hard on boots, and didn't even come close to wearing them out. For me the weak link was the linings, which finally disintegrated despite being repaired once each. Even my Cobbler was impressed with how well made they were, except the linings. I think I have wierd feet because I always wear out heel linings.

I have the same problem because I pull them on with untying them enough so I wear out the inside back heel. I’m still wearing the same pair today. Thanks for watching!

Do they fit true to size?

Yes, theyve been great and both of us are still wearing our pairs. My son says his size Mens 11 are a little roomy though
