I know this vid is a few weeks old..but recently moved to consol after a couple year break when my computer died, and when I searched for builds to do on ark this is what I was looking for. Something doable on consol and look stunning. I don't want to copy your design by any means but this video has opened my mind to hundreds of ideas. Thank you!

Nice build But you made a big mistake with the fence foundations under the doors. Placing fence foundations under doors for you will have to crouch to get through the doors. Also if you're using pillars to fill in the gaps between corner walls. Then move the walls out a bit with ceilings so they are at the edge and they will not leave gaps.
Sorry for the late reply. I will defiantly keep this in mind all this time I never realized the fence foundations could do that I always thought it was placing window frames above doorways :) Thanks for the tips man, I moved the walls after flipping them on my Halloween Haunted house looks good
yeah cords are always some of the first questions that pop up on the videos and I think the terrain can make a build really stand out some times. I also need to include structures lists but I forget some times :)
There is 6 levels of builders lvl 1 The box noob - Nothing wrong with having a practical base lvl 2 Triangle user - Well why so edgy round's waay better (Think already high of themselves) lvl 3 Experimental - Uses both forms to experiment with shapes and sizes but end up building nothing and yet everything at once lvl 4 The house builder - the first decent builder that always has some nice looking bases lvl 5 The Pro - Always has one absolutely universal base build that's very beautiful and fits almost everywhere (Could do more but why would he with a solid build that works for him?) lvl 6 the Architect - works on a diploma for design of some sorts, or actual game design or already has said diploma and they are not afraid to show off their skill mostly very humble and with one thing in common no matter where they go they always manage to leave something beautiful behind that leaves the audience in awe on th masterpiece that they brought to their server. I think you're lvl 7
If you try to follow this video exactly you should take note... that there are some modifications to this house that he does off video you do not see (slight and not super important) and some build spots will not connect such as with fence foundations that he attaches may not attach to your own build. No idea why sometimes it works and other times it says obstructed. But for me I had issues placing some things myself that was placed in the video. Same with some pillars in the video he places with ease, but would not place for me (even if they highlight in green)
I want this for lost island lol. Above the build you did on li cliff/waterfall is a plateau. And I got permission to build on the whole thing. This would be an awesome build for it.
I really love the final build but unfortunately I wasn't able to watch the whole tutorial because the camera movements gave me headache. Also I found difficulty counting the foundation on the floor at the beginning. If you consider making a tutorial with still pictures and written instructions I would pay to download it. Thank you
Thanks :) I was spending days editing and running through all the details and the videos might only get a few views. Getting more regular, shorter videos out seems to be helping the channel grow. The views are so random I am kind of still experimenting with it all.

Tip to anyone building this on official. This is one of my favorite builds though i use tek and greenhouse, the VERY FIRST WALL that he places holds up 80% of the build. So dont use greenhouse there, use metal or tek (learned the hardway coming home to a mostly decayed build 😔)
@@LeGiT_YoMoM88 because the first wall is on a triangle ceiling therefore its floating and majority of the house is built around it. The pillars can support some pieces that are connected to the pillars but once that wall falls majority of the house is going down with it
SO, I tried to replace that FIRST green house wall with a stronger wall. When I picked it up the entire structure I had made so far exploded. THANKS lol3
I don't know if you'll respond to this with how long ago this was posted, but how did you get the wood ceilings to snap like you did at 17:05? I'm not able to see any snap points that would allow that and it's a little upsetting lol

I have built with mods before a lot of my early builds were modded castles and Titan platform builds. I have been focusing on no mods builds so people on console can build my stuff lately but I will do some soon :)

AT 12 minutes you place fence foundations under the hexagon doorway ive tried building this many times in different ways even rebuilding the eintire design following the exact floor pattern and i cannot get the pillars to be unobstructed. the most i can get is 4 pillars by destroying the upper part of the tower first before rebuilding. (Im playing on official if this has any restrictions)

You can lock it in by building walls down if it won't clip into the terrain. You can do the same on platform mounts so builds can go lower down the animal.
No disrespect intended because this looks incredible but in the description you say this is a tutorial build? But where is the materials list and the step by step guiding?

Edwin Liew Hello hello! Two months late but you do this by enabling the collision between objects at the bottom of the setting page (when loading up the map). Should be before you come across ‘enable creative mode’. Hope that was helpful.

I think the secret is to put a Fence Foundation in the triangle ceilings. Have you try this ?

I think some of the larger rocks have areas that can be built into but not all the way
next time make it more tutorial please because trying to build it without ever seeing the full foundation is difficult

How did you get the foundations to set into the rocks? I try this and it says its always obstructed. Is this a change in the settings???
There's a setting that turns off collision.
